Everything. The photos used were not accurate.
The staff are very polite
The property is in a very busy street, bars played music until 3am
Room is very old and the bathroom is very old…
We didn’t have a good experience with our stay
Location was very central (but therefore quite noisy). Bed comfortable.
Room quite small. Everything a bit tatty - chipped furniture, mosquito net curtains that didn’t close, gaps round windows etc.. TV was not working and took till 9pm on second (final) night for staff to get it working. We had been staying at Matilda hotel for 4 days previous and for only £5 a night more it was a world of difference.
the location is amazing , reception staff were amazing specially Miss Swift who helped me in an early check in . managed my half day city tour with water puppet show at amazing price and even helped me to open my door when i accidentally left my keys inside the room and the door got locked from outside. The hotel facilities are amazing with a spacious big room , big toilet with all toileteries and all facilities in room like closet, TV , coffee maker, water bottles, bed side lamp , small fridge
fridge was not working. no Inhouse breakfast.
I good location
Hotel is in dire need of an upgrade a lot of things are really dated and old
1. Floor is always clean.
2. Staffs are OK
1. Their CC TV is broken.
2. Someone from hotel stole my moneybag.
3. Have no restaurant. How hotel is operated without restaurant?
4. No space for gossip with stranger.
5. Their main business is SPA.
6. Have no printed invoice. They are shown very laziness to provide any type of invoices.
7. Overated in Agoda and Booking.Com
8. Worst balcony which is just for shown, not usable.
Very bad experience
Good location good service
The service & location is very good, near Hanoi Old Quarter which is very lively, many shops, spas, & foods around.
The staffs can speak English fluently, also helpful & friendly especially Ms. Phuong Anh that so caring of us.
Nothing less
Liked that we were moved to another hotel when we couldn't sleep for the noise. Staff were fantastic and organised it right away. Nice room and location. If you don't like a lot of noise, stay in the French Quarter
It was a very noisy street close to a nightclubs full of backpackers. This doesn't stop until 6am.
Hotel has seen better days, was a bit tired looking. Just as we were after the first night
Could do with updates, beds not very comfortable, noisy all night! We were on the top floor, and we could hear the rain on the roof but it sounded like it was dripping into room right over our heads!
Some of the friendliest staff with great English.
Fantastic location.
Got a last minute room and it was on the ground floor, was very shabby and not like the photos of other rooms. Luckily we got this room at a last minute deal for a large discount but certainly wouldn't have been happy if we were charged full price. Perhaps the other rooms are nicer
Nothing.
A lot! The actual condition of the rooms look nothing like the photos on Booking.com. No telephone in the room, the shower and toilet are pretty rundown, old and smelly bed, and loud noise and music till 2-3am as so-called the hotel is at popular beer street. Worst of all, the hotel has clearly not maintained the AC for many years as I spotted thick layer of dust inside!
If you’re arriving late in the evening, taxi can’t drop you at the hotel because the roads are closed for night market - you’ll have to drag your luggage to hotel and walk for 5-10 mins through crowded streets.
Long story short, avoid this hotel at all cost! You’ll find better ones elsewhere in same area.
