We loved everything about the Cally Palace Hotel. We have stayed many times. Very large, spotless rooms. Brilliant food and lovely staff.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The staff were truly amazing, without exception.
Breakfast was great too.
Our dogs were happy with the great walks nearby.
Golf course was fabulous.
Great having a bath in the room and lashings of hot water.
Spa was brilliant.

everything was great.
Breakfast was amazing lots of choices. Our room was really large and sitting on our balcony was so relaxing listening to the birdsong we loved our stay. Your reception lady was very cheerful and welcoming and so helpful with local information. We
We greatly enjoyed our stay and have no dislikes.
A beautiful location and so good for walking the dog.
Would have preferred some more comfortable chairs in the bar, but the bar staff were very good.
Beautiful original building full of character
Rather faded elegance
Everything about the place was superb

Beautiful property and lovely rooms. The leisure area was great. Plenty of places to sit throughout the day. There is also a little village near by (20min walk)
Wonderful big common rooms to sit for a drink, or read or just relax.
Gym adequate & a good sized nice clean pool.
Staff excellent and polite.
Used restaurant once - had a nice tasty beef shank (could have done with a lot more veg though) !
Ample parking space close to hotel entrance.
Place just a wee bit tired looking in places. Could do with a right good freshen up.
Snooker table tear on cloth poorly repaired, cues and rests need replaced, shouldn’t cost a fortune to have everything repaired/replaced.
My room was on the 3 and a half floor !
75 steps was a bit of a climb, room was very spacious but a coat of paint and new curtains wouldn’t go amiss. Half of the tv Chanels unavailable, guess a reception/Ariel problem.
Very spacious room with lovely view over the golf course and enormous very comfortable bed. Good size swimming pool of 25m length. Hot buffet breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful, although we suffered some confusion with the front desk over 'room service' - no we didn't want to eat in our room but we definitely did want the room 'serviced' each morning! Lovely setting in the middle of the golf course, very peaceful with lots of birdsong.
The evening meal service on one of the two nights we ate there was glacial. Over thirty minutes from our arrival at the table (at our pre-booked time) before we were given some water for the table and menus to look at...
We noticed that some guests with mobility problems were struggling - as far as we could tell the hotel has no lifts and there are short flights of stairs to negotiate all over the place.
Elegant. Comfortable. Excellent location

hele ruime kamer en badkamer, fijn zwembad, prachtige omgeving
Ontbijt is niet super, nogal eenzijdig (naar hollandse begrippen)
Very remote for a country escape. Easy access to the golf course. Great for walks. Pool is nice a 15 metre length so great for swimming and practicing technique. Hot tub and sauna are available aswell, also very well kept. Rooms are massive and very clean. Staff know how to look after there guests and are happy working there, they also know the local area and will help you if you ask them. Evening menu is great and delicious food, breakfast is both English / Scottish full breakfast in a buffet style with a continental breakfast aswell. I will definitely be staying again.
I really can't fault this place. It works well and definitely can't fault it.
Old world charm.
Hotel was too warm for comfort, en-suite was in need of upgrade. Could save money by turning heat down by two degrees and could do upgrade with money saved.
