Comfortable, friendly, great value
Pros:

The Bird is in a great position alongside the canal, although our room overlooked the car park. The room was quite big and warm, the bed was very comfortable. The host, Lynn, was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and so much of it.
Had a drink in the pub which is very friendly. All in all a comfortable stay at a great price.
