Hotel situeert zich in een vrij drukke straat maar dat stoort helemaal niet. Prima ontvangst aan de receptie, vriendelijke uitleg en informatie gekregen. De kamer was OK, badkamer idem. Een goed hotel kortbij het centrum van Porto. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd; verse producten. Ontbijten kon op het ingesloten, rustige terras buiten; aangenaam om te zitten.
Vanuit het hotel is het centrum makkelijk te voet bereikbaar. Naar de benedenstad en de rivier Douro is het wel wat dalen en nadien natuurlijk opnieuw klimmen, maar het loont de moeite. Zeker ook een porto-huis bezoeken en een rondvaart op de Douro plannen. En...niet te missen...een wandeling over de mooie brug van Gustav Eiffel, de blikvanger van Porto.
Hotel San Gabriel is zeker een aanrader wanneer je een kort verblijf boekt in Porto.

Cons:

Por poner alguna pega, algunas plazas parking eran algo estrechas para coches grandes, recomiendo aparcarlos en la planta de abajo.
