The room was well placed...with the best view and comfortable amenities.
The hot water supply for the shower was not stable and consistent...
Nothing not to like here. We LOVED IT. Room was clean and comfortable, simple and rustic but exactly what we were looking for. Amazing food, kind and helpful staff, views for days, near lots of spas and hiking trails. Can’t miss with this place!!
That it’s not closer to home (we’re from the US) for more frequent visits!
The sense of peace, the views, the accommodating staff.
Nothing
The location is great, though it is a little far from the city centre so you are abit far from the shopping area and restaurants. The location alone cant make up for it but you do get a great view.
The hotel and its rooms are old. They need maintenance, there is a big bug problem in the rooms. Even though we got a suite, the cleaniness wasnt great. There was no kettle in the room though hot water was available from reception. There are spiders and bugs due to forest and there are no nets in the windows. There is no AC or fan so it gets a bit stuffy if you close the doors due to bugs.
Get ready to survive all night. There will be critters everywhere, and the rooms are not properly sealed to protect you from these bugs/animals. The staff are rude, and the restaurant is overpriced. I left in the middle of the night, and walked down the street in the pouring rain to find a new hotel to stay at.
I genuinely didn’t like a single thing about this hotel. I checked in and checked straight back out - didn’t even stay the night because it was filthy. The staff were not friendly and were unhelpful.
A great place to unwind and stare at the gorgeous views (particularly from the new Boutique hotel!)
The shower and toilet with the little huts are a bit small and very basic, but we got offered to use a better bathroom in the dome tent instead which was much better
The entrance to the property was shocking because we arrived late around 11 pm and there was a steep entrance for climbing which shocked us initially
