Incredible views, delicious food and welcoming staff
Pros:

I really enjoyed my time at Hotel at the End of the Universe. It felt like a private nature retreat as I needed to finish a book I am writing. I got to have the ‘camping’ experience, with access to a rustic restaurant and chill out area (with INCREDIBLE food by the way…) and fire pits that you can use everywhere.

I was so productive during my stay, and every evening I enjoyed music jams and socialising. The staff are super friendly and made me feel at home… not to mention they are all very funny and happy to be working there.

I know some reviews did not appreciate how basic the budget rooms are, and the bugs… but if you don’t like nature, then maybe it’s not for you. If, however, if you enjoy embracing nature, I would definitely recommend Hotel at the End of the Universe :)

Stay here you won’t regret it.
Pros:

Nothing not to like here. We LOVED IT. Room was clean and comfortable, simple and rustic but exactly what we were looking for. Amazing food, kind and helpful staff, views for days, near lots of spas and hiking trails. Can’t miss with this place!!

Cons:

That it’s not closer to home (we’re from the US) for more frequent visits!

Stay at End of the Universe was above average. It could have been better but passable!
Pros:

The location is great, though it is a little far from the city centre so you are abit far from the shopping area and restaurants. The location alone cant make up for it but you do get a great view.

Cons:

The hotel and its rooms are old. They need maintenance, there is a big bug problem in the rooms. Even though we got a suite, the cleaniness wasnt great. There was no kettle in the room though hot water was available from reception. There are spiders and bugs due to forest and there are no nets in the windows. There is no AC or fan so it gets a bit stuffy if you close the doors due to bugs.

Cons:

Get ready to survive all night. There will be critters everywhere, and the rooms are not properly sealed to protect you from these bugs/animals. The staff are rude, and the restaurant is overpriced. I left in the middle of the night, and walked down the street in the pouring rain to find a new hotel to stay at.
