Heel mooie kamer, met fantastische mooi terras en uniek (privé) uitzicht.
Pros:

De locatie was subliem. Hoog gelegen met schitterend uitzicht om de omgeving waaronder de met sneeuw bedekte Erna waaruit ook nog rook omhoog kwam omdat de Etna sinds een paar maanden licht actief was. Dat ook nog eens van een groot zonnig terras dat bij de suite hoort. Fantastisch.

Cons:

Het was al bekend bij ons, maar het hotel heeft geen lift, maar wel veel trappen. Ook als je naar het dorp wilt lopen, moet je veel trappen nemen. Maar daad rijden gelukkig ook de groene lijn bussen regelmatig langs, met een halte bij de boveningang van het hotel. Of je naar Castelmola wilt, het centrum, station of strand. Tegen geringe prijs kan je meerijden.

Pros:

The room had everything we needed and was quite nice. The view from our balcony was spectacular! We couldn't get enough of it. The breakfast was very abundant, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cons:

The shower cabin was a bit too small so showering was a bit tricky at times, but nothing too dramatic.

Amazing Views and very comfortable suite.
Pros:

I was upgraded to stay in the Suite which had its own huge patio area with the most amazing views across Taormina and Mount Etna. It was lovely and the upgrade was very much appreciated. The suite had a large bathroom and seating area. It had two sofas on the first night but on the second night one of the sofas had been removed which was a shame, as I was staying with friends at the hotel and the additional sofa in the evening would have been useful for seating everyone. It wasn't too much of an issue as I used the outdoor furniture from the outside patio instead. The staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The parking is limited. The hotel car park had space for only two cars and parking on the road was very busy. The hotel receptionist kindly gave us her parking space as she was just finishing her shift. No staff are at the hotel after 10pm. Breakfast was continental with various meat options. They also had scrambled eggs, but I didn't try the breakfast as it was quite limited and expensive at £15 per person. The curtains in the suite didn't quite fully cover the windows at night.
