Upon arrival, we were delighted to receive a room upgrade, a wonderful surprise after our long drive. The room itself was beautiful and spacious, with a lovely terrace overlooking the countryside. The hotel’s spa facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, were a great addition and we made full use of them. The staff were consistently helpful, and the buffet‑style breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable lounge area
Absolutly great location and beautiful hotel, unfortunately the bed was possibly the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. The mattress was saggy and kept trying to tip me towards the floot, the bed was so soft that it felt like I was being swallowed which made it hard to turn over, very dissapointed, As well as this they over charged me by £45 with no explaination. I lay on my friends bed in another room which seemed to have a perfecly acceptable matress , I think I just drew the short straw. For these prices I expected better.
The bed it was awful, very little sleep. Saggy mattress that was tilted on one side and so soft in the middle it was difficult to turn over
Location was great. Spa was lovely. Superb hot stone massage. Breakfast was lovely. Reception staff very helpful. Room was great. Food in restaurant was delicious.
Parking charge is excessive.
Restaurant was very busy and not enough staff.
Bar staff not particularly friendly or helpful.
No alcohol free beer.
The quality of the breakfast was great. Staff were exceptional. The bed was so comfy and the room very good. Location was brilliant
Having to pay £25 per day parking charges. The evening meal was not in the restaurant but in the bar area
It was all very good and efficient. Good, friendly service. Helpful staff.
The weather (rain) - I know you can't do anything about that!
Location is amazing, surrounded by nature with great countryside views. Room was large enough, clean, comfortable and with all the appliances needed. The dinner was beautiful and the service very friendly and attentive.
Whilst we had a great stay, if I was to change anything, I would improve the spa/leisure area, to bring it up to the level of the rest of the hotel in terms of infrastructure. Also, the jacuzzi seemed over-treated with chlorine to the point where our eyes were red and itchy...
The staff in the restaurant for breakfast were exceptional . They were welcoming, helpful, attentive and the food selection was amazing .
First check in colleague when I arrived did not have the best customer service. The room was not ready so I checked in later and the member of staff then was helpful and pleasant .
