The staff were great - being cheerful, welcoming and ready to help. I had a hearty meal in the bar, which was warm and cosy.

Location is fab, lots of nice walks and the hotel food is lovely.
The single beds in the lodge move when u turn over and are not very comfy, the sofas aren't very comfy and the dining table has been replaced with a small old table, if these things were replaced the lodge would be a lot more comfortable.
I was staying for work. A bride was getting ready here so also stayed for convenience. I was arriving late. A lot later than the hotel was open for travellers arriving and they were kind enough to leave my key out for me.

Dogs not allowed in restaurant but they are allowed in the bar so not really a problem but would have been nice to sit in the restaurant with dog as restaurant was brighter.

Breakfast and dinners were lovely, and the setting of the inn is just beautiful. Staff was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much.
sink in my room was very small and made it difficult to do simple things. The room I booked for my brother mentioned a king size bed and it was not. His room was nice but not what we expected.
The location is amazing and the scenery is incredible. The rooms were very nice and spacious. Both the restaurant and the breakfast was good.
The road to drive there is not great, but just take your time and it will be fine.
Absolutely gorgeous food! Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Somewhere to park my motorbike out the way from the road. Would recommend for bikers needing a place to stay whilst travelling. Lovely atmosphere and breakfast
