Disappointed, wouldn't stay there again

Quiet despite being central.
Easy check-in/out process

Cons:

No shower in the room which I wasn't expecting to be on a different floor!
Too hot and no chance to cool down.
Bed was too small.

Das angebotene Frühstück war fein und das Check in einfach.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer (Nr.23) war aufgrund der Strassenbeleuchtung selbst mit geschlossenen Fenstetläden und gezohenen Vorhängen noch sehr hell.

In der Beschreibung stand 1 Doppelbett - es waren aber 2x 80cm Betten was den Komfort deutisch schmälerte.

Kostenlosen, feinen Kaffee, Tee, Kakao und Früchte durchgehend

Cons:

morgens kam Tageslicht und Strassenlärm vom Fenster. Also pünktlich ins Bett gehen ist leider Pflicht.

Das Kämmerchen wäre selbst für eine Person extrem eng. Es gibt keine Parkplätze für das Hotel und man kassiert ein Bußgeldtiket für Einladen des Gepäcks. Dafür ist es ein teures Hotel ohne Personal. Es war vor vielen Jahren ein sehr gemütliches Haus. Jetzt ist es unpersönlich und teuer. Wir werden uns was anderes suchen. Sind wenigstens alle 3 Jahre in Bad Ragaz.

We liked the location and the room was clean.

Cons:

We did not like the fact that there was no reception. ON the phone, the assistance was good, but I was expecting a reception at the property. Besides, at breakfast, the staff were not really present. The breakfast was basic, and the tables were not set, which I found gave a bad impression of the property. I am not sure what the 3-star requirements are, but I thought that this was not a 3-star accommodation. Besides, the outside was not well kept, the walls were very dirty, at first impression, I thought that it was an abandoned building.
