Lovely pub in very close proximity to Piece Hall
Pros:

Plenty of parking when I arrived and easy to get to. The location is absolutely perfect for the Piece Hall. Right outside.
Staff were really friendly. There's a nice beer garden.
The room was large, nicely decorated and had a Minster view.
I also loved the Anne Lister mural.
For the price, it was very reasonable.

Cons:

Shared bathroom meant that if someone is showering and you need to use the loo, you have to just wait. (Or go downstairs to the pub but there's only one toilet downstairs). The shared bathroom is clearly stated though and taken into consideration in the price.
I think someone else already said about the shower drain being clogged. The minute you start showering, the shower base starts filling with water.
Mattresses are very soft.
Could have done with a bin in the room.
Shame that the pub wasn't open after the gig as we were looking for somewhere for a nightcap.

The stay was comfy for one night

Perfect Location
Pros:

Ideal for us for an overnight for attending a gig at The Piece Hall. Accommodation was easy to find and short walking distance from train station. It was also perfectly located for the venue. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

Would have preferred an en suite but we knew it was a shared bathroom.

Nice room in great location
Pros:

Fantastic location for both the train station and nearby Piece Hall for concerts. Lovely staff who were very helpful , room was simple but nice and clean. I was brought a lovely large, cold bottle of water on arrival which was much appreciated.

Cons:

No tea and coffee in the room, but there is a kitchen you can use beside the rooms until the bar closes. I was aware that the rooms aren’t en-suite but did find that a little difficult. Also be aware that there are no hairdryers.

Best stay ever.Loved it!
Pros:

I went for a gig as the Ring O’Bells is super close to The Piece Hall.Decided to travel alone but met great people in the pub.When you go ask for Mark -the kindest person ever.He bought me a birthday pint and let me try his mystical shot😂.I am going back just because of the atmosphere ❤️

Cons:

I liked everything.

Pros:

Nice easy place to stay, close to the train station and town. Staff were kind and accommodating, and room was clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom was not a trouble, and access to a kitchen was great!
