Wir hatten insgesamt einen guten Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Grosses Zimmer, das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Praktisch war der Shuttle im Taksim-Platz.

Cons:

Das Hotel wirkt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der Pool war kleiner als auf den Bildern dargestellt.

Shuttle service is great Monday to Saturday.

Staff are friendly-ish.

Cons:

Cleaners didn’t clean the bedroom properly. Towels would come back with stains. Overall cleanliness of the room was poor.

Cons:

Nous avons eu une très mauvaise expérience lors de notre séjour dans cet établissement.
Le matelas de notre lit était très endommagé et extrêmement mou, au point de rendre le sommeil inconfortable. Le matin, nous avons signalé le problème à la réception, mais le réceptionniste nous a répondu que tous les matelas de toutes les chambres étaient identiques. Aucune véritable solution ne nous a été proposée.
De plus, le nettoyage laissait à désirer.
Franchement, cet établissement ne mérite pas ses 5 étoiles. J'ai déjà séjourné dans plusieurs hôtels 5 étoiles en Turquie et l'expérience avait été excellente, avec un niveau de confort et de service bien supérieur.
En résumé, nous sommes très déçus de notre séjour et je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel. Le standing affiché ne correspond pas à la qualité des prestations proposées.

The staff was very nice

Unfortunately, the rooms are so outdated and uncomfortable that everything else becomes almost irrelevant.

The beds are extremely soft and worn out, to the point where you can feel every little spring underneath you. They are also very small and certainly not king-size as advertised. On top of that, the walls and doors are incredibly thin. You can hear every single footstep, conversation and noise from the hallway and neighbouring rooms. As a result, we had four sleepless nights, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel in this category.

The bathroom was another major disappointment. The water pressure in the shower was so weak that it was practically impossible to properly rinse shampoo out of long hair. Water was also leaking from the shower hose, making the situation even worse. We actually had to visit a hair salon twice just to have our hair washed and blow-dried!

While the staff are genuinely friendly and the general facilities are decent, none of this makes up for such fundamental shortcomings. At the end of the day, a hotel should at least provide a comfortable bed, a quiet room and a functioning shower. Unfortunately, this hotel failed on all three.

We even tried to cancel the remainder of our stay, but the hotel was unwilling to accommodate our request or offer any flexibility.

As for the location, which many reviews describe as excellent, I would strongly disagree. Taksim itself feels quite run-down, and the hotel’s location is far less convenient than it might initially appear. The shuttle to Taksim Square, where you can access public transport, only runs once an hour. Walking there takes around 20 minutes, mostly uphill through rather neglected and deprived streets, which is far from pleasant.

Overall, despite the friendly staff, the condition of the rooms and the complete lack of comfort made this an extremely disappointing experience. For the price and expectations associated with this hotel, I find these conditions completely unacceptable. I wo

IK RAAD DIT HOTEL NIEMAND AAN:

Het was een verschrikkelijke hotel. Ze hebben mij een kamer gegeven welke eigenlijk bestemd is voor invaliden. Totaal geen hygiëne aanwezig. Kamer was erg smerig. Bij binnenkomst merk je meteen dst het vochtig is. Bed is heel vies en bij het openslaan van de laken was er zelfs haren te zien.

Kortom: het is totaal oncomfortabel om hier te verblijven. Zelfs de cijfer 1 is te hoog voor dit hotel. Het is maar dat ik geen cijfer 0 kan geven, want anders had ik dat zeker gedaan.
