Best location
Huge and uneven steps were a bit of discomfort.
The Yak n Yeti Iinn's breakfast isn't just a meal; it's an experience that perfectly encapsulates the charm and hospitality of the Himalayas. A fantastic start to any day in Ranikhet!
The location of Yak n Yeti inn is undoubtedly its most impressive feature, offering a truly immersive and tranquil Himalayan experience. Perched on a gentle slope just outside the main town of Ranikhet, the inn strikes a perfect balance between accessibility and serene seclusion.
The first thing you notice upon arrival is the breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayan range. From the rooms and common areas, you can gaze upon a majestic line of snow-capped peaks, a sight that changes with the light of day.
None, we enjoyed every second of our stay.
Beautiful view, spacious and clean room
Food taste was not upto the mark.
It's a lovely and quaint property. It's very aesthetically designed, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the vast valley and the Himalayas (weather permitting). It has the typical Alpine boutique-hotel ambience. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and prompt. All in all, a very good place. The only downsides are the steep stairs leading to the rooms, which could be a hazard for the elderly. Tariff-wise, it is pricier than some similar establishments in the vicinity.

I recently stayed at Yak & Yeti in Ranikhet, and it was a lovely experience. The rooms are cozy and well-decorated, with a rustic Himalayan charm that made me feel at home. The wooden furniture and warm lighting created a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I had a room with a beautiful view of the hills, which added to the serenity of my stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room had all the basic amenities I needed. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ranikhet! Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through, this restaurant offers a fantastic culinary journey with a touch of Himalayan hospitality.
