Modern Getaway in the Heart of LA near USC, Private room with share Living room and kitchen

I booked 3 units for 3 nights at Cozy Living Su Booking for a group of 6. Upon arrival, the conditions were shocking — missing door knobs, dirty fridge with expired food, no temperature control, and no staff available. It felt completely unsafe.

Out of 3 units, only one was used for a single night, and we left the next morning. The other guests did not check in at all.

The host promised to refund one unit but never followed through. Worse, they edited the booking from 3 to 2 units without my approval, which I believe was an attempt to reduce liability. Booking.com has not yet resolved this despite my evidence and repeated follow-ups.

This was the worst booking experience I’ve ever had. I do not recommend this property, and I urge Booking.com to investigate it thoroughly.

The information given about the location did not mention the side door entrance. I could not find my room.

It did not look like the pictures. Not what it was promised. Bad area, shared space.

One night I really panicked and I was really afraid. They neighbours were very loud and rude, a child was crying and almost screaming on Saturday night, I asked them one time to try to calm down and after I went back in my room it got worse. The wash machine was running all Saturday night and on Sunday I went out of my room and saw a person sleeping on the couch in the living room ( I found it very weird). The location has very thin walls also. And now they have 5 stars on booking. I don’t know, that place gives me creeps.

The location on their profile at booking is totally deferent as actual location. It took me 1hour to find the place. Plus the area is so dirty and full of bad people. Like whenever u go out there is some criminal out side and police is chasing them

I never had a reply about my email that I was in trouble with my access code.

I wasn’t fond of parking our car on the streets, sometimes parking was difficult and lead us to parking farther away from the property.

No parking and not many nice places in the vicinity.

I hate the parking situation since I had to park 15 minutes away and walk to the car and back but it’s more of an inconvenience than an issue

These accomodations were booked becasue the listing states that there is FREE PARKING. There is NO PARKING for this facility, only street parking and the closest spot I could find was two and half blocks away. It's always fun to have to walk that far, with your arms full of gear, in a neighborhood you don't know. Nothing like painting a target on someone. If you say you have parking, the you should have parking AT the site.

1. Thermostat broken so rooms were very cold. I decided to purchase a space heater.
2. Roof leaking and water over the floor in common area
3. Loud, rude, angry, obnoxious "guests" at all hours making relaxation impossible
4. No USPS access so mail is returned and not received by guest
5. No hot water in kitchen area
6. My room was vandalized and door kicked in. I had to file a police report and vacate two days early causing expense for another place to stay having prepaid the full amount.
7. Entry doors open all night and not secured.
8. No onsite management.

They give you the run around even when you cancel within the allotted time

Dirt. The common space isn’t being maintained. There was only one coffee pot for 3 floors of private rooms and it had’t been cleaned for months so grey MOLD grew in it. My husband had to wash with his bare hands (I couldn’t possibly do it)… even more, there were crumbs under the table everywhere. I don’t get why cleaning staff don’t clean the common space and kitchen equipment. Our private room was clean enough but there was a bunch of long dark hair - even on the new bed sheets(I am blonde).

Difficulty finding parking. Walls very thin.
