Beautiful inside, we had half board and the food was great. Like the move towards sustainability.
I thought it was great that the evening meal half board included all 3 courses as some places don't.
Room was modern and clean, the restaurant felt high end but with a relaxed feel.
I did wonder why they charged guests for parking especially when it's not in the center of the city. It would be nice to waiver that. Having said I felt that our stay was very good value for money.
We have to mention a couple of times that we were half board, it would be a nice touch if they picked that up on booking the reservation as it can make you feel uncomfortable to ask what's included on the half board room booking.
Lovey hotel, friendly staff
Parking was quite expensive
Could do with more vegan options at breakfast (vegan oat milk is available and the beans and mushrooms are vegan but it would be good to have vegan spread too as well as more substantial hot vegan food)
Choice as t breakfast was good. Rooms were warm beds comfy
Restaurant was already fully booked so had to eat elsewhere. No shaver/toothbrush charger in bathroom. Didn’t like the drink station being on corridor devalued it a little padding down in nightwear to get a cup of tea in the am
Very clean. Bed was very comfortable and it was a very reasonable price. Easy to get bus into centre of Exeter. Lighting and mirror in the room were good.
Slightly annoying that tea and coffee is in the corridor and not the room but not the worst. I was woken one day by a plane (it's close to Exeter airport) and you can hear the traffic.
Everything was good
Just our room did not have refrigerator.
No refrigerator in our room
Stayed for 2 nights and had a very good experience. The room was clean, well-sized, and comfortable. The staff were particularly helpful, we had an issue with a bad smell from the toilet when we first arrived, and they dealt with it promptly. They also quickly resolved a problem with the room heating (thermostat wasn’t responsive), which was appreciated. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of both hot and cold options, plus a chef available to prepare fresh, bespoke omelettes. Location works well too, Exeter isn’t a large city, so getting around is easy, and the hotel is conveniently placed.
Modern, clean, nearly new and in good condition throughout. Very comfortable bed. Excellent evening restaurant meal.
Lack of storage in room for clothes and surfaces for sundry small items.
Welcoming and helpful staff at reception. Room tidy and comfortable.
No coffee making facilities in room.
The staff were very friendly, especially Jayne, who quickly became my 5-year-old son’s favourite friend.
i liked the hotel for its location and easy of getting around it, i didn't eat at the hotel on this occasion, but it all looked very nice from what i saw around, the hotel rooms and wifi were perfect for working and relaxing.
