Bright modern and comfortable
Pros:

Convenient location for me when visiting my family who live close by. Very comfortable modern bright hotel. Far superior to some of its more dated drab competitors which are stuck in a slightly dark grimy time warp.

Cons:

I would like a feather and down pillow. The ones provided are all the same: a bit too bulky so I woke with a crick in my neck. I think given that 4 pillows are provided, then two could be smaller/softer/feather & down. We don’t all have allergies.

Very Good Hotel ideal for visiting Exeter

Great stop over
Pros:

Great new fresh decor and atmosphere. Lovely enthusiastic staff. Love the aspiration to net zero. The room is minimal in look but very comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing really. The dinner menu is a little dull and the breakfast at a flat rate £20 in a bit expensive if you only want coffee and toast

What a lovely Hotel! Beautifully designed, and super cosy. The food was exceptional. My waiter was Rohit, he was very attentive. I had the moules to start and the chicken schnitzel for main. I didn't have breakfast, but I did have a slice of the lemon polenta cake, which again was so good. Well done Voco Exeter!

Cons:

Personally for me, I would have like to have seen a better gym, but i guess not many people want this facility. Im happy the concentrated on everything else.

A lovely bright modern environmental stay in the countryside science park outside Exeter
Pros:

It was very light inside with calm colour interiors and there was a lovely view of the hills and nice airy feel outside. It is a fully carbon neutral hotel that I did not appreciate. There are water and tea and coffee stations that I have not come across before. The dining room area is very nicely designed and there is good external deck area to enjoy the countryside of the science park on a sunny day.

That you have to pay for parking.

Highly recommend
Pros:

All staff were welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful.
Poppy at reception and the young man behind the bar displayed exceptional customer service skills.
The rooms were spacious and the whole hotel was spotless.

Cons:

Nothing not to like.
