Spacious rooms to unpack, sit, and spread out, AC and ceiling fan in bathroom dries clothing very quickly if you hand wash something, café downstairs out front is delicious, room service is offered and cheap, walking distance from local outdoor mall with food options, easy to catch tuk tuk or walk to Metro. I stayed 5 days total during my trip.
Rooms need up-keeping. Staff doesn't clean the rooms daily (on any of the days/nights I stayed), you have to ask for refills of anything. I mean, if you don't want to be bothered, that's ok. There is no safe to keep valuables, so bring a luggage lock. There were hairs on the floor/bed when I arrived.
Big, spacious room, closet, table to eat at, table to relax at, AC worked, cheap room service with extensive menu. The cafe on the first floor is excellent.
Nobody cleaned my room in the 4 nights I was there. Things were run down, hairs on the bed, wall paper peeling. They're stingy with the toilet paper (rolls have little on them). Location didn't have much around it unless you wanted to dodge cars and rickshaws. Also anyone can walk right in the door and up the stairs. No safe to store valuables.
Location was great. There is good cafe downstairs although it does not belong to the Orion it is accessible and serves good breakfast.
We were a family of 4. The photos on booking.com is NOT what it actually is. The rooms have a bad smell, AC does not work well, bathroom and toilets are ancient, the door does not have a chain lock, there are dirty clothes lying just outside your door all the time, the lift is the smallest and is rather unsafe.
Everything about this hotel was not as it was described while booking.
Also we didn’t see any family using the hotel. It was not worth the money and there are many more good hotels for the same price in the same area
The location was perfect I could walk everywhere Plusthe staff gave me a tip on where to find the best street food and they were spot on right loved the food theere too!
After a long day getting lost in the city, coming back to this calm spot felt like a treat. Plus, the rooftop view was pretty sweet
Great location to explore the city without any hassle. The vibe was great and everything was easy to access. The experience was beyond what I expected. So worth it!
They had the cutest courtyard where I drank my morning coffee. Honestly didn’t want to leave!
The hotel owner actually gave me a mini tour of the neighborhood. I learned more in 20 minutes than I did all day!
My time in the hotel has been fantastic. Good central position to see all the sights, all accessible by foot. Rooms were very comfy and the staff are very helpful.
Greater Kailash is a clean, stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Greater Kailash I with great cafes nearby, friendly staff, and comfort that feels worth a 9-star rating.
Rooms feel fresh and well-kept, the food at the 24‑hour restaurant actually tastes good, and free Wi‑Fi plus parking saved me a lot of hassle. The front desk staff were super friendly—they remembered my name by day two and kept checking in to see if I needed anything.
Not a lot, if anything. This property did not live up to the expectation that the listing suggested. One member of staff did go out to buy us some beers.
The location, the dirt outside and alongside the building, the inability of the staff to understand basic requests. On arrival it seemed the staff were shocked to see us. The room seemed as if it had not been made ready for our arrival and when trying out the fiitings nothing seemed to work. The bed linnen was soiled. The decor was shabby to say the least, the bathroom hard to describe. The restaurant was a joke - more like a storage room. In the booking we were told no cards would be accepted, but at check in we were told cards could be used. the fire escape was lethal with rubbish and equipment stored on it. Had we not made a commitment for a tour pick up the next morning we would simply not have checked in. We checked out as soon as we got back from the tour and moved elsewhere. I have lived and worked in India before, but this did not live up to what I had reasonably expected.
