Weird stay 🤷‍♀️
Pros:

Location was good, the room is spacious

Cons:

The staff was very weird and not really welcoming and there were many of them. We wanted to eat something in the restaurant but it looked like we would have to cook on our own as they didn’t seemed interested to bring us the menu, serve food, etc. The food also was average. The next morning when we came from the trip, there was no electricity.

Perfect location and fit for purpose
Pros:

This is a basic hotel to service travellers doing whaleshark tours. It is perfect for that purpose. The staff are friendly and make the whole process smooth and easy. The food from the onsite restaurant is excellent and the beer is cold.

Cons:

We had to choose this hotel simply because there were only 2-3 options in the area, and this was the best compromise. Everything in the hotel feels very cheap: plastic wall panels, rusty bathroom fixtures, just one lamp in the entire room, synthetic bed sheets, and an AC that barely works.

Breakfast was included, but the only free option was fried rice, no chicken. There weren’t even basic choices like eggs or sausages.

We paid IDR 700,000 per night. For the same price in Bali, you can rent a villa with a rice terrace view, brand-new furniture, and modern bathroom facilities.

This place is definitely not worth the money.

地理位置非常优越，很多旅行团需要一两点出发，这里离码头只有五分钟路程，全程接送安排追鲸鲨酒店都可以安排，性价比非常高，小屋面朝大海，以至于我又多住了一晚。所有工作人员都非常友好，尤其是我的司机edy开车非常稳，还给我提供了很多目的地的信息，我是一个女生单独旅行，全程非常安全，非常推荐！

Decent hotel with bad bathrooms
Pros:

It was close (2 minutes by car) to the pier where our whale sharks tour started. The room size was good. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly good for the area like this.

Cons:

If the room I can rate 3* then the bathroom is solid 1* suitable only for cheap beckpackers guesthouse. One of the worst bathrooms I have been to. I felt disguisted to use it. The main room was also full of ants (tousands of them) - the receprion gave us spray and we killed them but we had to sleep with this smell of this harmfull chemical spay after that. In our second room we did not spay and it was full of ants and mosquitos I think because cleaning let them fly in while cleaning (a lot of mosquitos outside so no surprise). There are 2 hotels near the strating point of the tour so do your research about the second one, especialy about the restaurant because there are no decent places to eat except in the hotels in this area if you dont eat in the local warungs.

Net goed genoeg voor de walvishaaien-excursie
Pros:

Mooie ligging aan een strandje, prachtig uitzicht. Goede plek als start voor de walvishaaien-excursie

Cons:

Vergane glorie, zeker niet 3 sterren. Het is echt alleen goed voor de walvishaaien, daarna zou ik gelijk vertrekken. Eten is zeer matig en personeel heel ongeïnteresseerd en afstandelijk.

De excursie is een piepklein bootje die nota bene werd aangevaren!
