Pros:

The location is excellent—very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and situated on a lively street with a great atmosphere. However, since the hotel is inside a small lane, it was quiet and not affected by street noise. The staff were very kind and helpful. Even though we traveled during Lunar New Year and had a tight schedule, they thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us because we needed to catch a bus at 7 in the morning. 😊

Et godt ophold til prisen - morgenmaden kunne dog godt have indeholdt f.eks. lidt ost og pålæg.

Det lå rigtig godt og centralt og personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme.

Was comfortable enough

Cons:

Pictures online don't match the photos online. The room smelt damp too and the room we had was tiny! I would say the rooms need a bit of a revamp.

Another thing... the customer service was good however, the gentleman on the front desk was trying to give us the hard sell on the excursions, before we had even checked in and seen our room. This was via text and when we arrived.

Late check in. Staff was nice.

Cons:

The forty dollar room they shoved me in.It was nothing like the online pictures. Not even enough room to walk around the bed and some window that was boarded up with plywood. The mattress was uncomfortable and saggy. And the TV didn't even work.

OK Hotel for old town.
Pros:

We were in Hanoi and loved it. Then we left and found we wanted to come back. At the last minute we found this hotel in the middle of Old Town Hanoi. Since we did not book months in advance it was western prices (but to be fair it was also for NYE). We found the room well appointed and clean. Shower was good. Bed's comfort was just OK. We had the suite -- with a couch and chair. Helpful to have something else to sit on. Staff was very helpful.

Cons:

Room was small. We had previously stayed in the Golden Silk Hotel -- this hotel was not as nice. But it was not bad. This hotel served its purpose. Furniture was a little scratched a bit. Shower runs out of hot water after 15 minutes.

The best hotel in Hanoi, where you like like at home
Pros:

We came back to Aviary hotel because i was do impressed during the first stay.
Mr Peter,the manager arranged for us the pick up from the airport and a jeep tour, which was excellent. All staff but specially, Anna was looking after us during our stay making sure we feel very welcome.
After spending 7 days outside Hanoi, coming back to Aviary hotel was like coming back home.
And the location couldn’t be better in Hanoi. It is just in the middle of The Old Quarter.

Pros:

Le personnel est très gentil et vous pouvez tous prendre avec eux, carte de téléphone, excursions, change, laundry, navette, le petit déjeuner est très bon. Nous avons eu ma famille et moi un belle accueil et l’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal car il est près et à 2 de tous (commerces, restaurants, massages...)
