Pros:

This hotel is wonderful. The property is spectacular. It felt so private and luxurious. It is also very close to everything you want to see in the Boyne Valley. The spa is wonderful. This hotel was a highlight of my whole trip. I highly recommend staying here!

Pros:

all movers of the staff are so friendly!

Cons:

Room 101 shows signs of wear that it shouldn't. In the area where the TV is, there a
Is exposed metal from the base that should be covered. A minor detail, but for what you are paying for this room, should be impeccable.

We felt pampered, spoilt and my wife thought the breakfast was the best she has ever had in a hotel.
Pros:

What a beautiful location, beautifully landscaped and sitting on the terrace having a drink as the sunsets was amazing. The room was huge and very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel and I imagine it would be a special place for a marriage ceremony. I spoke to the staff and management have big plans to introduce improvements, infinity pool for example. A very pleasant stay for us and we will definitely return. A hidden gem.

Cons:

Took us a while to find the place, even with a sat nav which took us to dog kennels with the same name, perhaps better signage would help but I appreciate that it is lovely countryside and big signs may be frowned upon.

one to be forgotten about as quickly as possible!
Pros:

Nothing was good about breakfast, self service for supposed quality of hotel and price?, we would have at least expected table service for main part of breakfast. quality of food poor, poached eggs sitting on heater!!, a no no. we have wonderful food in Meath and the quality of sausage was poor, rashers were not cooked for our liking. My wife came home and cooked herself a poached egg. Guys one tea bag for a tea pot for two, what is going on.
Room - we thought we had booked the main hotel as that was what was shown on the website when I booked it (no mention of stables) and for price and it an attic room with no visability from it, poor lockers, no wardrobe??. This was an anniversary stay which was totally spoil. We had the use of a purifer but this was noisy and my wife woke at 3.00am with the noise from it.

Cons:

We liked the dinner which was outside as the dining room is in basement for such warm weather with blowers did not make sense to dine there. The staff were friendly but cannot make up for overall issues with our experience.
The outdoor area is nice but foul smell was an issue for us as well

Pros:

The location and old house look.

Cons:

The furniture in the room dated with stains. Due to room being advertised by .com. So the room offered is generally lacking in most things.
