ruhig und erholsam im hektischen Weligama
Pros:

sehr schöne Lage mit dem großen Balkon und der Schiebetür und dem Blick auf den Fluss. Besonders toll am frühen Morgen und am Abend gelegentlich springen Affen durch die Bäume man kann diese vom Balkon aus beobachten. Eine echte Alternative zum Trubel in Weligama.

Cons:

Das Ganze ist schon ziemlich weit von Cafés und Restaurants am Strandbereich entfernt. Entweder mietet man einen Scooter oder geht ordentlich zu Fuß

Lovely vibe, kind staff, clean rooms, and a sweet birthday gesture. Would stay again!
Pros:

I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved the experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and the overall vibe of the place was amazing. The staff were super helpful and even surprised me by celebrating my birthday with a beautiful plate of banana cake and ice cream, such a thoughtful gesture! The rooms were very clean and the beds were really comfortable. They also have two cats on the property, which was an added bonus for me! Would totally recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Weligama.

This was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka so far.
Pros:

Room was stunning! Incredible river views. I loved being a little away from the hustle and bustle (noise). A communal area with beanbags and view you could hang out all day there.
Loved hanging by the pool and saw lots of monkeys and water monitors! Staff are awesome! Creative workshop upstairs keeps the place buzzing and feeling alive.

Cons:

Sometimes staff are loud (I think noise travels) going up and down the stairs at night.

Vi hade ett par riktigt härliga dagar på Sapiens och både vi och barnen uppskattade både rummet och poolen på hotellet. Det ligger superfint invid lagunen och vi kunde se apor klättra och hoppa i träden utanför. Men det allra allra bästa med hotellet var ändå maten - vi hade läst recensioner om hur bra det var men det var verkligen helt fantastiskt - till och med våra kräsna barn älskade den! Vi bodde över jul och de hade ordnat så fint med ett litet julfirande och barnen fick även varsin present - väldigt uppskattat :)

Great stay to relax and combine with surf, highly recommended!
Pros:

Very beautiful premises, with a great room with a stunning view of the river and pool, esp. at night with the lights. The common area is perfectly designed to relax, read a book, and wind down after surf. Food was impeccable! The staff was really friendly and helpful, they hooked us up with a driver the days after.

Cons:

All perfect.
