Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, Altstadt und Rheinufer leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Tiefgarage und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel ebenfalls vor der Tür.

Cons:

Sehr schlechtes wlan, sowohl im Zimmer als auch in der Lobby. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber nicht besonders.

A nice moderen Swiss hotel that is steps from historic district.
Pros:

It is clean and well looked after. While the main entrance is situated on a modern commercial street you can go out the backdoor and you are just steps away from the historic / entertainment district. Basel's charming Zoo is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel's frontdoor.

Cons:

We were there during recent heat wave. Our room's A/C was not coping. It was only cooling to 75 F. We alerted the front desk and a staffer checked out the room's thermostat and offered us a room 2 doors away that was holding 70F degrees. A potentially bad situation was resolved.

Not worth the money.
Pros:

The property had a gym and was located in one of the main plazas that had access to all the tramways which was convenient. The staff were very nice and attentive.

Cons:

I don’t believe the price for this hotel is reasonable by any means, especially since it doesn’t have any amenities. I had a long stay but nothing was complimentary, not even the snacks in the mini bar. I have never been to a hotel that never offered complimentary snacks or food to guest. We had to pay for breakfast as well after we checked out and was billed almost $800 dollars, and that is with the breakfast discounted for our stay. No dinner is offered. There isn’t any spa, or pool. For $300/night it was not worth it. I appreciate the staff as they did a phenomenal job with servicing us. But I believe you can find better accommodations with more included amenities than in Basel.

Ein schöner Kurzurlaub in einer interessanten Stadt
Pros:

Service, Lage waren sehr angenehm und schön.
Parken im Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe hat prima funktioniert.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist hinsichtlich Preis eher überschaubar.
Je nach Anspruch eine Alternative suchen.
Im Bad wäre ein Schmink / Rasierspiegel ganz nett.
Für Teetrinker ein Wasserkocher (Kaffeemaschine war vorhanden)
