Could do better
Pros:

The location.

Cons:

It needs a lot of renovation externally. Lots of flies around the outside of the buffet restaurant. Even saw 2 mice run across the floor in the same place. Need to keep the webbed area around the pool cleaner during the day. Nobody collecting rubbish or full ash trays from that area. No waiter service also, not ideal for a supposed 5 star hotel. Also needs more parking.

A Special Place We Keep Coming Back To
Pros:

In the end, we had the pleasure of staying again in the Presidential Suite, which was truly spectacular. The suite is exceptionally spacious and beautifully glamorous, with an enormous terrace, a generous private pool and a breathtaking view that is very difficult to match.

What made our stay even more enjoyable was the genuine kindness and attentiveness of the entire team. From housekeeping to the bar and restaurant staff, the reception team and the hotel manager, everyone was exceptionally welcoming, professional and attentive to every detail. This level of hospitality made us feel genuinely well taken care of throughout our stay.

Cons:

The bathrooms require substantial improvement. Most importantly, the water pressure in all four showers and bathtubs was unacceptably low for a property of this level and significantly affected the overall comfort.

I would also appreciate more attention to the terrace pool area. Last year, the towels were replaced and the sun loungers were properly arranged early in the morning, without guests having to ask. This year, we had to request these things ourselves, which was a noticeable difference.

As I already mentioned last year, I would strongly suggest creating a properly shaded area on the terrace. Apart from providing protection from the sun, this would also be extremely useful for protecting the cushions, mattresses and towels from rain. This year, we experienced a particularly rainy day, and unfortunately everything left on the terrace became completely soaked.

Another suggestion, specifically regarding the two penthouses with private pools — the Presidential Suite and the Ammana Suite — would be to introduce a thorough mid-season deep cleaning. Given the high level of these accommodations and the very busy season, I believe it would be appropriate to schedule a more comprehensive refresh during the season, including professional cleaning or, preferably, replacement of the curtains and carpets. By the end of August, these were noticeably worn and dirty, and this would make a significant difference in maintaining the impeccable standard expected from these two exceptional suites.

Finally, there were occasional unpleasant sewage smells in the bedrooms, seemingly coming from the two bathrooms and toilets. This is something that should definitely be investigated and addressed, as it detracts from the otherwise excellent experience.

All in all, our third stay in the Presidential Apartment was once again a very enjoyable experience.

The facility is a bit out of date. The bathroom drain pipe was blocked before we arrived. The last day The sewer pipes were emitting a foul odor. Also, there were red marks on the towels.

Pros:

Hotelul este situat într-un complex cu terenuri de golf și toată zona este îngrijită și amenajată frumos.
Camerele sunt mari, curate, foarte confortabile, baia la fel de frumos amenajată.
Personalul era, în majoritate, asiatic și foarte amabil.
Mâncare bună, băuturi de calitate.
Piscină exterioară încălzită și cu zone foarte bune pentru copii.
În general, totul este ceea ce trebuie pentru un concediu relaxant.

Cons:

În zona șezlongurilor de la piscina era pietriș, lucru care nu mi-a plăcut neapărat, dar nu suficient cât să nu te simți bine.

Not 5 stars, not Premium all inclusive at all!
Pros:

Location is ok…ish, hotel is big, outside pool water was warm, indoor pool is big and the water temperature was great.

Cons:

The worst thing was the food, no variety, no options, no kids menu, this isn’t Premium all inclusive, this is “eat what i give you, or go to the other restaurant that we have, and pay!”, the drinks are all chemicals and not even the good chemicals like Pepsi, Cola and such, only the cheapest, no name ones. The parking is very crowded and not organized. At the outside pool area, the subeds are layed on top of actual rocks so if you don’t wear flip flops or other footwear you will scream when you want to enter the pool or get back to your sunbed. The beach is 10-15 minutes away by shuttle bus which is very crowded. The beach is comprised of 3 sections, a free one for people that come from everywhere, a paid section where you will get a voucher from the hotel and you can stay but the sunbeds are old and some are broken, and a premium section where you have to pay for the sunbed and umbrella like 40€ for 2 people. The room is ok…ish besides the fact the toilet is in the shower literaly, not kidding and the fact that you have to pay for the minibar and even for the cofee that you find in your room.

We still love coming to Lighthouse after 7 years, but we really hope more attention will be given to maintenance and cle
Pros:

We have been coming to Lighthouse for 7 years and we always feel wonderful here. We love the location, the atmosphere, the big rooms, big beds..the pool and the overall concept of the hotel. It is a beautiful place with huge potential.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the hotel has started to deteriorate. Cleanliness around the pool, gym and rooms needs improvement, and the building and facilities need better maintenance. Breakfast is also much less varied than it used to be and feels quite limited for a 5-star hotel. The beach area has changed dramatically — from a beautiful, well-kept place into an area that now feels neglected and almost like a dumping ground.

Pros:

We enjoyed the most during our stay was the heated swimming pool, which was very pleasant, and the Greek restaurant next to the pool. The food and atmosphere there were definitely among the highlights of our stay.

Cons:

Our stay at the hotel was quite disappointing, especially considering the overall standard we expected.

There were several issues with the room and the general level of cleanliness and maintenance. We were surprised to find that coffee in the room was charged separately.
The towels were extremely worn out, the sink had obvious signs of previous use and was not properly clean, and the shower area was poorly designed or maintained, as water would reach the toilet every time we showered.

Communication with the reception staff was also difficult, as they had significant difficulties understanding and communicating in English, which made it challenging to resolve even simple issues.

Moreover, we were incorrectly charged for products that we had not consumed. This was particularly frustrating and required us to point out the mistake ourselves.

The most concerning issue, however, was the presence of mice and rats around the hotel lobby in the evening. Some of them were actually trying to get inside the lobby, and a few managed to do so. This is a serious hygiene and safety concern and, in our opinion, something that should be addressed immediately.

Overall, the experience was far below what we expected. The hotel clearly needs significant improvements in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, pest control, staff communication, and attention to detail.
