the location was closer to dharamkot and bhagsu. so, roaming around was good. The rooms were clean. The property is the best if you compares with the ones around it.
some of the staff was rude. rest, managers were good.
Every night there was loud music from the rooftop bar. We stayed on the 4th floor just under the bar on the 5th floor. The music is so loud and annoying the walls vibrate. It does stop at around 2300 but until then it's F annoying 😑

אחד המלונות הכי גרועים שהייתי בהם בחיים. הרבה דברים לא עבדו ולא קבלנו מענה כשבקשנו לטפל בהם. החדר הרגיש לא מתוחזק ולא נקי והאינטרנט בו לא עבד, ואנחנו חושדים שגם לא החליפו מצעים. המים במקלחת נהיו קרים אחרי דקה או שתיים וריח כבד של אוכל שטף את החדר כל בוקר. יש הוסטלים יותר מוצלחים מהמקום הזה ובוודאי שלא שווה את המחיר המופקע.
The view from the roof
We chose this hotel expecting a comfortable experience, but the reality exposed multiple fundamental issues that should not exist in a property claiming to be “luxury”. Got some photos to judge yourselves. Be aware - this is one of the most expensive hotels in Bhagsu, charging at least 2 time more that the average!
Cleanliness was the first concern. Finding hair on the pillows is not a minor oversight - it indicates that proper cleaning standards are not being followed. In addition, the walls showed visible dirt and wear, reinforcing a general sense of poor maintenance rather than a well-kept property.
Basic amenities were missing: no filtered drinking water and no kettle - essentials that are standard even in much simpler accommodations. We had to asked for it few times, but even after that we got a dirty kettle.
A major issue is the restaurant exhaust system. Cooking odors spread throughout the hotel and into the rooms. This is not a one-time inconvenience but a structural problem that directly impacts guests’ ability to rest. We were woken up early due to the bad smell.
Hot water was unreliable, and the WiFi signal did not properly reach the room, making it difficult to work.
The room service system also failed - the cleaning button did not function, and as a result, our room was not serviced.
Service did not help recover the situation. Instead of resolving issues, interactions with staff often made us feel unwelcome. They even wanted to charged us more in the last night claiming this poorly maintained room is deluxe!
When multiple core systems fail - cleanliness, maintenance, ventilation, service, and communication - it reflects a deeper operational issue, not an isolated incident.
Given the gap between how this hotel presents itself and the actual guest experience, it is difficult to understand how the current rating is maintained.
Looks luxurious, new building. Location is close to upper Bhagsu. Nice view from windows and balcony (make sure to get high floors).
Some staff were nice and helpful, while others were less helpful as they hard time understanding our Enlgish.
On check-in day we had hard time finding the place at night, and they didn't answer the phone. We evetually found the place but it was very scary experience.
Our room didn't have the mountain view, although it was mentioned on the description.
There was some mold in the ceiling, because of strong recent rains, which was the reason we eventually moved to another hotel.

The room is clean and spacious
The view from the hotel does not match the advertised images, as it is partially blocked by nearby housing. The hot water in the room was unreliable, working for only a few minutes, which made showering difficult for my family. Considering the price, the hotel does not offer a buffet breakfast, which was disappointing. Additionally, the road leading up to the hotel is very steep and may be challenging for guests with elderly family members or mobility issues.
