Restaurant was excellent. Location very good for visiting New Quay, Aberaeron and beautiful beaches of Penybryn, Aberporth, Tresaith and Mwnt. Bus stop on site if you don't want to drive

All the staff were helpful and really friendly. Everything was clean and tidy. Patio furniture and communal kitchen were great bonuses.
Great to have the restaurant open all day and a great place to meet local friends.
Very dog friendly and good walks round and from the site.
All areas were well maintained.
Very minor niggles re the accessible room shower which has an auto shutoff after only a few seconds and doesnt drain very efficiently. I'm not disabled but water running up to the toilet could be a problem for some.

Terrible bathroom. We had to move rooms from what we originally booked as we had a dog. So we were asked to stay in the accessible room. The bathroom is a wet room but the shower is fixed. So it aims at the toilet and the sink which made showering a little tricky. The shower spray doesn't even cover the shower seat which defeats the object of being accessible. Apparently this is a known issue , if we had known this prior to moving rooms I would not have agreed.
Everything was generally good, the food is also good, the menu didn't really match our personal preferences but unfair to criticise that really, the food we ordered absolutely fine with good service.
The bed wasn't super comfy but not terrible at the same time. the room was lovely, good value for money.
Room was well decorated and loved the rustic theme of the decor.
The bathroom was a wet room type room. Unfortunately the shower would spray water all over the place including the toilet. There was a cheap mop provided but due to the poor shower head it took a good while to mop up the floor after your shower. Then you’d have to dry your feet after every time you went back into the bathroom, or wear shoes which I did. The first night was fine but the second night I couldn’t get to sleep until about 1/1.30 due to a droning noise coming from the ceiling. I thought it was the air source heating pumps outside but after going outside about midnight they were all off. This was a droning noise above the bed as you could feel the vibration on the ceiling. Not great when you’ve travelled for work and just wanted to sleep.
Loved the decor and the room we had - the bed was so comfortable. Nice to have a little table and chairs outside the French doors to enjoy an evening drink. The breakfast at the Bistro is wonderful and the staff each morning were lovely
The only drawback with the push button shower which didn’t stay on very long and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted

the room was themed perfectly, it was clean, had all the necessary appliances and was easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and informative and the on site activities were vast.
The curtains weren't very thick and due to the outdoor street lighting the room wasn't fully dark.

Breakfast was fair only as toast was just hot bread very lightly toasted. Lunch was bland.
Too much goose pooh on veranda which could easily have been hosed off.
Location was goo. d. Breakfast was very good. Didn't have an evening meal. Staff very helpful.
