Ok could have been so much easier when having to pay as you go!
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable. Nice bar and restaurant areas. Food was good

Cons:

Very difficult to talk to reception before arrival because of AI answerphone and not enough staff manning reception phone.
Although meals were pre booked a week in advance they were not assigned to each room so when our group came to pay there was confusion on what was what.
Needs better organisation for large groups and phone numbers and emails that work.

Nice budget and friendly hotel
Pros:

Location is as good as it can get overlooking Masham square.
Breakfast was nice but I hadn't realised it wasn't included in the booking - my mistake.

Cons:

Sorry but the hotel is a bit run down, the bedding isn't comfortable (think low thread count) and I never wanted my bare feet to touch the floor, it just didn't look clean.

Great overnight stay
Pros:

The staff were so helpful, I forgot my hair straightener 2 members of staff brought there’s in from home for me to borrow. [I was going to a wedding]
Breakfast was lovely. We had full English and it was very nice.
We also ate in the pub restaurant and the food was very good.
Great parking.

Staff were lovely. Good location. Dog friendly

Cons:

The walls in the en suite were badly water stained and not very nice looking.
Busy for meals which resulted in long wait between placing order and getting the food. Some of the starters weren't good.

Great location, friendly staff and ideal for my requirements
Pros:

breakfast was very nice and staff attentive - room was ok, maybe a bit tired on the decoration and the bed was not the most comfortable, perhaps allow more pillows

Cons:

The restaurant was very busy on Monday night, and service was slow
