The room was spacious and clean, the house is in a nice neighborhood close to where I needed to be, the owner was friendly, and as a real bonus, one of the owner's cats was very friendly and kept me company a couple of times. This was my choice. This would have been easy to not have the cat enter the room if I didn't want him to.
The mattress is not good. I got a sore back. If the mattress was replaced with a good mattress, this would be an easy place to recommend and want to return to. There is no room for a neutral comment, but I was in the downstairs room, and I had to walk up a flight of stairs to use the main bathroom. There was a half bathroom on the main floor which I could have used but for taking showers, one needs to be able to walk up a flight of stairs. For me, this was not a problem.
The location was a nice, clean room, and the costs were reasonable.
There were no welcoming communications, better-quality towels were needed, and I didn't realize that the bathroom was shared.
Good value in a quiet nice neighborhood. House dark when I arrived, used the key pad to get in. Proprietor came when I entered the door and gave me the WiFi codes and and an extra blanket. Nice bathroom, large room and good desk.
Bed mattress was more of futon type, firm but ok. Sink drain was slow needed to be cleaned out.
