The employees were amazing remembered how we liked our drinks and they were so friendly. Going above and beyond to make us comfortable.
After a couple of months of back to back busy it was the most clean but after notifying the staff I’m sure they will do better in the cleanliness of the rooms

The location is fantastic - right by the sea, with an absolutely stunning view. The facilities themselves are beautiful, the rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the private beach and pool area could be a major highlight of the hotel.
We stayed at this hotel for a week as a couple, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing considering the price and the fact that the hotel presents itself as a 5-star luxury property.
We booked a room with a balcony, but the balcony was actually shared with two other rooms, which was unexpected and felt quite strange. There is also no wardrobe in the room, which became particularly inconvenient during a week-long stay. The shower is poorly designed, with insufficient glass, meaning water gets all over the bathroom floor and makes it very slippery. On several occasions, we also did not have hot water, which was very frustrating.
The biggest issue, however, was the level of service. Unfortunately, this was some of the weakest service we have experienced at a hotel. We did not get the impression that the staff were intentionally rude or unhelpful — rather, there seemed to be very little awareness of what good hospitality and proactive service should look like.
Staff were generally very passive, and we often had to call their attention rather than having them notice when guests needed something. Things were also slow to be cleared or attended to. We frequently saw employees using their phones during their shifts, and on one occasion an employee was dancing and on her phone rather than paying attention to the guests.
One morning, we left our room and found a room-service tray outside a neighboring room, full of leftover food and dirty dishes. It had clearly been there for quite some time and had already started to smell. We called the hotel and were told it would be taken care of, but after waiting around 20 minutes with nothing happening, we had to go down to the lobby ourselves and ask again. Only then was it removed.
The pool and private beach area are another example of the hotel’s potential being let down by poor maintenance.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel San Angelo Saranda. The hotel is beautiful, the atmosphere is lovely, and the whole team is welcoming and friendly. Everything was perfect for a great stay in Saranda.
A special mention and dedication to Lovely, who was absolutely amazing, kind, welcoming, and always smiling. Her warmth and attention really made our stay even more enjoyable. ❤️

The view
We booked San Angelo Hotel as a 5-star luxury spa hotel but were extremely disappointed. The biggest concern was safety: the pool decking was broken and unstable, and I nearly fell over the edge after stepping on a loose board. The atmosphere was nothing like advertised, with loud music all day and staff playing drums, creating a beach club rather than a relaxing spa. Service was poor throughout, with rude staff, almost no poolside service, and guests unable to charge food or drinks to their room. Breakfast was greasy, cold and disappointing, leading us to eat elsewhere despite it being included. Our room was smaller than expected, had very limited storage, inconsistent housekeeping, a cold bath, unpleasant smells from the shower area, and unsafe minibar shelving. Overall, this hotel fell well below the 5-star standard advertised and did not justify the price we paid. We would not recommend it to anyone expecting a luxury, relaxing stay.
Didn’t visit other beaches because hotel beach was superb
