Management and staffs were so concerned and cooperative about everything and everyone stayed in the hotel...view was excellent...Awesome experience during our stay...
From previous reviews, we had expected the place to be good for the price we paid and we were not disappointed. What sets the place apart is its location -- its perched on a hill and some distance from crowded Kalimpong town. Unfortunately, the weather let us down and the expected views did not materialize. But on a good day, the view from the balcony would have been outstanding. Staff at the hotel/homestay were helpful and polite and the breakfast was good.

I loved the room, view and the cleanliness. The stuffs were really warm and welcoming. Especially Kushal, the manager, was very interactive throughout. He guided us in every way possible. Highly recommended place for a stay.
Just the food price was very high and it didn't make any sense to us.
Absolutely wonderful views!! Rooms are super clean and big! The bed is super comfy and the balcony is wide to set your chairs and have a sip of coffee! The views are just unmatchable and one could just book the hotel for the views. Situated at a little remote side but deolo mist national park is just 5min walk, so a plus point. Good shacks are there for beer and good food! The hotel food was not impressive though and unreasonably overpriced! Above all these, Mr. Kushal, the manager was a gem of a person, who helped us beyond words. We ran into a medical emergency and he stepped up to help us. We could have an amazing worryfree stay because of him. Also it was the hotel’s one year anniversary when we visited so they treated us with complimentary dinner, which was a gesture we will not forget. Also the owner of this hotel is super cordial and helpful. He arranged a cab at the lowest price. Overall it was an amazing stay! If you want peace with mesmerising views, go ahead!!!!
the hotel staff were excellent. the hotel manager Mr kushal thappa is a very amicable person and his approach towards customer is absolutely par excellence. the property is very neat and clean. and rooms are absolutely fine
because we are from the plain, i found the slopes are steep.
The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is very responsive and the care is personal. The food is very good. We ordered momos and Bengali cuisine which was yummy.
On a more personal note, my husband got very ill and Mr Kushal was so helpful. He arranged a cab and a driver, Ashok who helped us like a family member. This kindness will never be forgotten.
I recommend this place also for the picturesque view and the personalised care. Mr Kushal also prepared a personalised itenerary for us. Overall, excellent experience.
Everything was good
The warm hospitality and personal attention is the best part.Absolutely clean rooms and large bathroom.The view from the balcony is so mesmerizing,one can spend hours in bliss at this place.
Since the hotel is on top of a hill, you have to climb down to the rooms, which is a bit of a challenge for elderly people.
The view from the room was really amazing and the facilities were really good . It was a very nice stay . I urge people who likes nature must visit this place and staff was very good
There is nothing of disliking but next time i am just suggesting to the management to keep the food prices at par with the room . Otherwise 5 star to deolo mist .
I loved the location — the majestic balcony offered a breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga throughout the day, and the staff was excellent.

Food cost is high, too business centric approach
It was like staying at a homestay but with the facilities of a great hotel. The staff are like one big family - nothing was too much trouble for them.
The huge window out to the balcony and the incredible view (even with the haze hiding most of the mountains).
They really catered for our vegetarian diet, serving dishes that weren’t on the menu so we still got varied offerings (try the riltok soup - it’s incredible!).
Close enough to drop into kalimpong easily but down a dead end road so absolutely peaceful and totally silent at night - bliss!
We walked straight out of the hotel and down into the forest for a beautiful trek.
Nothing really, it’s a great place but maybe a comfy communal space would top it off as somewhere to hang out in the evenings.
