Pros:

Lovely hotel with breathtaking views from the balcony of the entire Teesta valley. We stayed in the family room with balcony for a week in the third week of May, 2026 and the owner, Swarup uncle was very helpful, kind and helped us plan our itinerary for sightseeing around kalimpong as well as nearby places.
Hotel staff are polite, always accessible. Truly a gem hidden away in kalimpong.
Highly recommend.

Cons:

Although the food was tasty and homely, it would be great if more varieties could be introduced.

Pros:

The view from the hotel is worth every penny. The staff especially a boy named "Anurag" is extremely nice and helpful. The hospitality of the owner is a must mention. Always thriving to serve his guests in the best possible way.

Cons:

Food available in the property restaurant does have a room for improvement. The power back up also needs an upgrade. There are power cuts in the hills too often. A better power back up can make one's stay perfect.

Food prices are very costly for an average traveller, Approaching road towards the hotel have got no lights. Lift facility is not there.

Cons:

If you stay there you have to be fully dependent on the hotel. Nothing is there around. The hotel is far away from the main city.
I will not recommend this hotel for a family.

Poor value for money. NOT a boutique hotel. Not recommended.

View from balcony.

Cons:

1. The best room, we booked was located 5 floors below road level. Had to walk up & down every time we wanted to go out or come in.
2. Most items in the Menu were not svailable.
3. Poor quality of food and very overpriced. No other options to eat in the neighborhood.

It was a very good experience for us including view from the balcony, staffs, food and cleanliness.
Pros:

Management and staffs were so concerned and cooperative about everything and everyone stayed in the hotel...view was excellent...Awesome experience during our stay...

Good hotel for a short stay in Kalimpong
Pros:

From previous reviews, we had expected the place to be good for the price we paid and we were not disappointed. What sets the place apart is its location -- its perched on a hill and some distance from crowded Kalimpong town. Unfortunately, the weather let us down and the expected views did not materialize. But on a good day, the view from the balcony would have been outstanding. Staff at the hotel/homestay were helpful and polite and the breakfast was good.
