Great place to stay with super helpful staff.
Pros:

The location close to the main plaza made it easy to come and go on colectivos. My room was comfortable, when I asked for a small bedside lamp they brought me one right away. There was a nice patio I could sit in the sun, and they had a mini kitchen guests could use. Mitla had lots to do, with Hierve de Agua and the ruins easy to reach.

Cons:

Unfortunately for a month during the holiday season the main plaza had very loud music until 12:00 every night, though this was not the hotel’s fault.

Cons:

You need to specifically ask for towels, soap and toilet paper. There were no extra blankets in the room. We got really cold around 3 am. The dbl bed is very small, not unusual in mexico

Pros:

Good location, close to the bus station. Clean bathroom and shower with hot water. Kindly kept our staff so we could go hike for the day.

Cons:

Unfortunately they didn’t know we were coming. Arriving a little after 3pm no one was at the front desk or the hotel beside the cleaning crew who called the owner. They said it would take them around 15 min to get there and being tired and hungry after a long journey we said we will go get lunch and come back in one hour. When we returned- again no one around, and after waiting for someone to come, the room wasn’t ready which took even more time. Once getting the room it was nice but the whole experience was tiring.

Pros:

Hotel is in a good location, walking distance to everything. My room was nice, especially the bathroom.

Cons:

Noisy! The windows face the inner staircase without apparently much insulation. There were people talking pretty load well into midnight. Maybe it was just a one off. I stayed one night.

Exceptional
Pros:

Comfortable, centrally located, the staff were very friendly. Everything is new and very clean. Nice bathroom. Would definitely stay there again.

Cons:

The internet connection for the tv on the third floor is slow. Was still able to watch but loading times were slow. Other than that, no problems.
