Never again!
Pros:

Apt was small but neat.

Cons:

Hosts said I was their first guest hence not prepared for my same-day reservation. When I showed up to meet confused lobby guards, owner initially refused to take my calls and claimed it was a wrong number. Once he checked his emails he admitted his mistake. That evening I waited 2 hours for them to make the place livable. Yet still, there was no thought of providing hand soap or hand towel to wash my hands or soap/towel to bathe. I left early in the morning (7:30am) in search of a hotel where I was at least guaranteed a shower (towel/soap). Owner and his wife asked me to delay departure so he can collect the key card. Hardly worth $42USD in the Philippines. I feel embarrassed for them since they seem like nice people who don’t understand the basic needs of short-term stays. I should demand back partial payment but it’s too much of a hassle with Booking.com’s system.
