Step back in time
Pros:

Stayed at Rawla Narlai and it was a wonderful experience.

The heritage property really takes you back in time, but without compromising on comfort. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very well maintained with modern amenities. I loved the decor, the distressed wood furniture paired with bright fabrics works so well and gives the rooms a lot of character.

The staff at the restaurant are warm and genuinely put in their best effort to take care of you. Food was delicious and served with a smile.

Special mention to the manager for being extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The spa here is also excellent, do not miss it.

A perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. Highly recommended if you are visiting Narlai.

beautiful oasis in the Indian countryside... a place to retreat when the big cities get too much!
Pros:

This place is such a find. I just wish I had stayed at least 2 nights... maybe 3 to enjoy the ambience. It is super relaxing, great pool and the gardens at night are incredible. The sunset leopard safari and sunrise elephant hill walk in were so memorable. This place is a must to visit.... in between the bustle of Jodphur and Udaipur. And the staff were outstanding.

Petit palais exceptionnel, beaucoup de charme.
Pros:

Le charme et le calme du lieu, l’emplacement dans le village, la qualité de la cuisine et la gentillesse du personnel. Tout était beau. La suite patrimoine est exceptionnelle et aurait sa place dans un palais à ouvrir à la visite.

Pros:

A very magical property. It has fabulous gardens, pool, outlook and activities. We loved the safari and Elephant Mountain walks. The stepwell dinner is other worldly- truly a special event and one to remember. A special spot in India.

The town is full of temples but relatively quiet and uncrowded, the hotel sits pefectly here.
Pros:

A quiet town, dominated by large rock outcrops. The hotel has a good pool with a reasonable depth, beautifully maintained gardens, comfortable beds, good food and well run Leopard safaris to nearby locations.

Cons:

I ate dinner outside because the diningroom was too cold, and the same could be said about the bar where I had a mocktail. I noticed other European tourists also making this choice.

Un endroit merveilleux, inattendu dans un petit village. Le site est très beau. Service impeccable, belle piscine, bon restaurant. Je recommande particulièrement la sortie proposée dans le village: l'occasion de rencontrer les locaux chez eux, dans leurs activités quotidiennes. A noter le temple qui est d'une exceptionnelle richesse pour un si modeste village.

The massage in the SPA! Lying by the pool watching the sunset and monkeys climbing the fence.

Exceptional stay. Leopards optional
Pros:

Exceptional property both in style, design & architecture, fully modern but utterly traditional Indian. Helpful well trained staff, but mostly it felt relaxed & homely in a way few hotels achieve. We were so happy sitting in one of the many spaces in shade enjoying the quiet & views. The Stepwell dinner is unmissable.
