Pros:

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly accommodating and always willing to help, offering great advice and making sure we had a comfortable stay.

The food was outstanding. They even prepared a delicious Indian breakfast specially for us upon request, which was a lovely touch. Our room was spotless, spacious, and very well maintained.

We truly enjoyed every moment and cannot wait to return to this beautiful hotel. Highly recommended!

The best stay in our entire Sri Lanka Lankan Trip
Pros:

It was the perfect beachfront getaway. The hotel is set on a peaceful, secluded beach, offering a true sense of serenity. The staff were exceptional, and their warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more special. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, with a touch of luxury in every corner.

If you're looking for a beachfront stay, Liya Beach is simply the best in town. Everything feels magical here, from the breathtaking views to the delicious food. I would happily give this property 11 out of 10 and cannot wait to visit again.

Horrible service and not worth the money
Pros:

The beach view and direct access was great.

Cons:

No housekeeping till you ask for it. The staff isn’t very fluent in English so if you only communicate in English and not Sinhala, that’s a bit tough. Food is horrible. They charge you for everything (water, towels, etc) after your first night or if requested more than what’s in the room (two of each when you check in).

Top hotel met alles wat je je kan wensen!
Pros:

Wat een fantastisch hotel! Heerlijk kamer, fantastische mensen, lekker zwembadje, direct aan het strand. En het ontbijt als kers op de taart is geweldig.
Schommels aan de bar met uitzicht op de keuken. 3 verschillende terrasjes op het dak. Heerlijke ligstoelen bij het zwembad. Het geluid van de zee zorgt dat je heerlijk slaapt. Kortom perfect.

Cons:

Enige minpuntje is dat je eigenlijk altijd een tuktuk nodig hebt als je ergens heen wilt. Vooral door de hitte is het niet comfortabel om 2 km te wandelen richting Ahangama. De faciliteiten in het hotel maken dit ruimschoots goed.

Review – Liya Beach Hotel
Pros:

Our stay was excellent. The staff treated us like family throughout our entire visit, which made a big difference. They were very attentive and even adapted meals to our preferences. On one occasion, we were able to bring fresh fish and seafood, and the kitchen prepared it for us a truly great and flexible service.

All employees were extremely friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile.

Cons:

The room only came with one key, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the safe in the room was not fixed, which did not feel very secure.

Неплохой вариант для остановки в Ахангаме.
Pros:

Симпатичный отель на берегу океана. Хорошо спланирован дизайн сада, приятное кафе для завтраков.
В ванной хороший напор воды и постоянно есть горячая.
Удален от центра деревни, поэтому немноголюдно и можно спокойно наслаждаться шумом океана.
Напротив отеля в переулке классная пекарня с очень приветливой женщиной.

Cons:

Осталось ощущение, что стоимость проживания завышена:
-персонал слабо организован;
- завтраки на тройку;
- в номере очень слышно шум от дороги из-за тонких дверей;
- во время уборки не моют сантехнику и не пополняют чай;
- в зоне завтраков очень много мух, не хватает ловушек;
- пляж перед отелем заставлен лодками, на которых соседи сушат вещи.
У отеля получится поднять уровень, если появится грамотный администратор. Желаю успехов и процветания владельцам!

Ansich ein tolles Hotel - aber die Begleitumstände.....
Pros:

Gutes Frühstück.
Nettes Personal!
Zimmer war ganz nett.

Cons:

Knallhartes Bett!
Es waren gerade mal 5 Liegen da, für 15 Personen.
Privatsphäre wird hier nicht so groß geschrieben, denn die Massagen erfolgten im 1. Stock des Restaurants und da konnte jeder zuschauen.
Wlan nicht so gut.

Zalig! Genoten. Veel bij de accomodatie gebleven omdat we het zo fijn vonden

Zalige bedden met zacht beddengoed en superfijne airco. Uitzicht was heerlijk en fijn. Gezellig personeel

Für diese Leistung viel zu teuer!
Pros:

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber für diesen Preis nicht adäquat.
Das Personal war großteils nicht geschult, aber sehr bemüht und freundlich.
Die Ausnahme war der Koch, der sein Handwerk perfekt versteht.

Cons:

Es gibt keinen Strand! Links vom Strandausgang liegen viele, teils verrottet Holzfischerboote. Rechts vom Strandausgang befindet sich eine kleine Müllhalde. Es gibt keine Strandliegen! Am Pool gibt es 5 Liegen für alle Zimmer (8)! Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr abgelegen.

Very hit and miss. The place has promise but needs to do much better for the price
Pros:

Nice beachside location and relaxing pool area. Comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Whike the rest room was ok, the bathroom was terrible. A short shower would flood it out with a pool of water through the entire bathroom which would take all day to drain away. This became very annoying during our multiple night stay. The breakfast was very low quality. Compared to other places we stayed in Sri Lanka, it proved to be overpriced and poor value for money overall.

Pros:

The location was amazing with rooms and a pool overlooking the ocean. Jayali, made our stay very special, she was very helpful with everything possible. We were moved to a better room as they knew it was our honey moon and they also setup bed decorations for our room on arrival. The breakfast that was included was amazing as well!!
