The Wild Orchid Resort - Moalboal

The restaurant food was hit and miss. Pastas were good. Fresh tuna was good as long as you tell them not to overcook it. Fish and chips were terrible.

The resort is beautiful with fantastic views of the ocean and adjacent islands. Snorkeling is quite good right in front of the resort.

Management is very helpful with arranging tours and transportation.

It’s a nice relaxing resort with a very friendly staff. The food was very good and prepared nicely. The only negative for us was the distance from town and the road going into the resort.

Great stay outside of the city. The Wild Orchid was accommodating and friendly. The hotel is about a 15 mins stay outside of the city which we liked but be aware if you like to be in the middle of the city. Rooms are clean and property is beautiful. We were there end of Jan so the water was a bit choppy. But still beautiful.

The management and staff really made our stay at the Wild Orchid. They arranged everything for us and made our trip effortless. 10/10 would recommend

The Wild Orchid is very secluded and peaceful. The food was excellent and the staff took care of all our needs. Wish we had longer to enjoy the resort.

perfect place to relax, enjoy sunset, sunrise. We enjoyed those umbrella or huge mushroom shaped rocks formation on the side of the property. the pool was clean.Staff were excellent! Food was good.

Not sure where to start. I absolutely loved everything about this place and after 5 nights didn't want to leave. The managers and staff were amazing and helped me out so much. I was traveling with a dog and had some unusual requests and they were more than happy to help. I honestly felt like I was staying with friends. I snorkeled with a sea turtle right off the private beach. The food was amazing. The hermit crabs at night were adorable and the pool was refreshing. My room was huge and clean with a great shower. I miss this place already. I should add I have been traveling Southeast Asia for 6 months and this has been my favourite stay so far.

We loved it all from The Wild Orchid Resort! The facilities and location are stunning with a very relaxing atmosphere. The most unforgettable sunsets can be watched from the private beach and the swimming pool area is amazing. The rooms are clean and very spacious and have direct sea views and aircon, as well as a very new bathroom with hot water shower and great water pressure. The food in the restaurant is lovely fresh and delicious. All members of the staff were so nice and helpful and the managers are very friendly. They are both scuba instructors as well and can organize all dive activities and courses for you and the snorkeling equipment can be borrowed for free. They will also organize for you other activities as canyoneering in Kawasan Falls or snorkeling in Sardines Run. They all really took care of us and we can’t wait to go back and stay longer next time!
Absolutely everything was exceptional. You might find a little bit bumpy the last section of the access road but I definitely believe this preserve this magical place from becoming another crowded tourist spot.
