After not having a key for our room, we waited 4 hours for locksmith to find it was a double and not twin as booked. Older siblings sharing a room. Would not give us alternative room so got a 3 hour train home. Ruined our weekend
I have read other reviews about this hotel after I had booked it, and those reviews were disgusting. Whatever people expect for the price of this hotel are beyond my reasoning. It was clean, fresh and every amenity in the room for a pleasent stay, which I most definitely had.
Only good thing was the man on the desk checking us in, otherwise I can’t say I’ll stay here again. There must be nice rooms downstairs but upstairs felt like nobody cares about them as they’re cheaper rooms, don’t think anyone’s given the room a proper clean in a while as there was fresh bedding

how can check in take 40 minutes ! shame about this place is its a dump but in the perfect spot. i would'nt reccomend this hotel to a dead rodent, they have even left this place
We love this hotel so much.
The check in process took all week to navigate. Lots of forms and only a whatspp group. The website on line booking form did not work. The hotel is tired, frightening and very very dirty.
Never stay there again
Didn't look like the pictures online. Peeling wallpaper, general unkempt vibe to the room, and also the room seemed to be on a slope. The door to our room wouldn't fully close. Awkward way of getting in and out of the room (the keys were tied to the door), facilities listed on the ad for the hotel just straight up weren't there. The view from the window was just a blank wall.
The man at reception was very friendly and helpful though so they're doing something right.
I was on a short trip with my partner we had not been on vacation for over two years I thought this place was nice as the pictures on the website look amazing and showed rooms with a balcony under the superior double room tab . Leading up to my arrival I was bombarded with Wassap messages saying I needed to pay an extra fee for what I’m still unaware for what ..on my arrival I asked about the room with balcony and was told they don’t have rooms with balcony’s when I challenged that I asked for that the staff laughed at me . As well the room was terrible . The first night I tried to shower and the water literally dribbled out the shower head so could not shower even though I had been travelling from another country since 4am . As well I had requested a room with a bath tub and I got a room with a tub but no plug to actually plug the drain . The staff while cleaning the same afternoon were so noisy in the corridors basically from 3pm to 6pm it was loud and annoying when I approached theme staff aswell they said it is not noisy am and I said no the hotel is not noisy you the staff are they also looked at me in amazement . Please avoid I promise you I want my money back it was so terrible honestly please avoid at all costs .

Pictures looked nice we just needed a one night stay. We booked through hotels.com and had receipts and confirmation. We had a call an hour later from the hotel saying we have not paid and need to pay again, they said we needed to go there and pay them manually, the receptionist was very rude on the phone. After sending all receipts to them they said they would send code to get into the hotel (as self checkin). We we arrived at 8pm we had no code. We spent 45 minutes outside the hotel ringing/ texting the numbers provided to get our code to enter the hotel. Nothing. After 50 minutes another resident turned up who let us into the corridor, he managed to get hold of the owner for us and gave us our codes. We still received nothing from her. When we got into the room it was filthy. Dirt on absolutely everywall and skirting boards. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We’ve still not had any form of contact from the owner and when hotels.com spoke to her she told them we was met by the receptionist after waiting 45minutes (it was another resident).
I would not stay again as it was very misleading on the website. The room is not what was advertised so disappointed , No reception or staff member to speak to. The beds so uncomfortable to asleep on. Bedsheets wasn’t clean. I had ridiculous noise levels during the night which caused lots of unpleasant noise my children can’t falling asleep well.

our particular room was very run down decor wise even for the cheap price that we paid. If your looking for a bed for the night then great but if it’s nice accommodation that your looking for then this isn’t the one .

Absolutely terrible experience would stay away from this hotel very unprofessional turned up to no codes for doors then told our room wasn’t clean after waiting an hour we then got put into the room room that also wasn’t cleaned ! Then had to wait two hours for correct room to be cleaned come back and the staff told us we haven’t payed after realising they were mistaken our room was not ready till 11pm at night but had no choice at that time also rooms are nothing like images and dirty only one staff who was very very unprofessional

Horrendous! I left and checked out within half an hour! Check in was terrible via whattsapp, key code to private bathroom outside did not work so no acces to water or toilet. No communication available with hotel.. they still have not replied almost 24 hrs later! Will be chasing for a refund ... had to book another hotel for our night away.
Carpet had stains, tv remote had chewing gum stuck to it and was greasy, bed sheets were clean but that was about it. Overall stay was quite uncomfortable to be honest but convieniant to the city centre.
