Cons:

Got moved from the Diamond Suite at Platinum Hotel to a suite at MGM Grand Signature Apartments that was smaller than what we expected. Was told it was an upgrade, but it was a downgrade. Had to sleep on the floor for 5 nights.

The room DOES NOT BELONG TO PLATINUM HOTEL. However we don’t see any clarification on the booking website. We were told that the room belongs to third party after check in the hotel. Regarding that, the hotel does not provide any cleaning services or supplying tissues/ towels for the room. Everything is responsible by the third party. (Frustrating)

It took us a while to FINALLY persuade the room owner to provide us additional TWO rolls of tissue for bathroom and few more coffee/ dish washing detergent pods for the rest of our 5 nights….

It is insane, as we booked the room for staying 7 nights but the room only provided two rolls of papers and 4 coffees for Two People?

They don’t even clean the room while our stay, and said to request a clean, this will cost $75. Turned out we have sooo many trashes that were no where to go and the room smelled bad.

A part from that, the lighting in the room was soooo dim that is hard to see things clearly.

Overall I had a great stay and world consider coming back if I wanted to get away from the casino type of hotel.
Pros:

I like that it has a condo feel with a separate living room and bedroom. I loved the big bathroom with a soaker tub and separate shower. I also liked having a kitchen with all the appliances.

Cons:

Although the balcony was huge. I had no view at all. When I asked the front desk if we could switch rooms we were told no because we booked using a third party app.

Listing was misleading regarding view. Room 620 has to be the worst unit in the building.
Pros:

Unit has good square footage and kitchen. Close to the Sphere.

Cons:

The listing was misleading. It indicated a "city view". It had zero view due to the location of the room (620). It's tucked into interior alcove on the 6th floor with a view of the 5th floor HVAC system above the restaurant. It felt like we were in a cave. This may in fact be the worst unit in the entire building. I might stay at the Platinum Hotel again, but it would have to be in a different unit. Avoid Room 620!!!!
