Firstly, I have never dealt with such rude and unprofessional people. Upon booking, I received a WhatsApp instructing me to fill in an online form for me to check in details. The said form also requires that I upload my ID copy. This made me a bit uncomfortable, so I called in to query this. I spoke to the most disgusting and unprofessional human being ever. She didn’t explain why they need this, instead she went on to tell me about how they don’t need my business and how she’s got people waiting to book, which clearly showed how she’s used to doing this nonsense. She then hung up and when I tried to call back, she wouldn’t answer. This was a late night check in, and we were now stuck in the streets with our bags - as we had travelled from Joburg for an overnight stay…

I went through the website and got a different contact number, which was then answered by Esethu/Sesethu, who was really helpful - firstly by answering my question and simply explaining why they needed me to upload the ID online and secondly by sending us check in instructions. Kudos to her.

When we eventually checked in, the place was REALLY warm inside, considering the hot weather on the day. I do understand that most places have no air-con installed, however, a basic fan would’ve been considerate… Apart from that, they failed to provide basic things like toilet paper in the bathroom.

If I could, I would rate this place 0.

The listing was not accurate. One of the main reasons I booked this property for my 2 week stay in Cape Town was the apparent availability of free off-street parking. What was not communicated, however, was that this parking had to be reserved prior to arriving at the property. As a result, I did not stay at the property. The staff I contacted were extremely unhelpful. And the area itself is extremely unsafe, hence the need for secure off-street parking. I am still waiting for my refund as I had to make alternative arrangements very urgently. Would not recommend at all.

I didn't like that there was no packing space at all aside from the shelves here and there.

According to your property description, there's parking available on site. Well, there were no parking available because your people didn't have a remote for the gate and I was told I had to pay an extra R300 if I want private parking, so my car had to overnight outside in the street.
