Pros:

Sehr freundlicher Service! Die Gastgeberin gibt viele Informationen. Der Außenbereich lädt zum Entspannen ein.

Cons:

Hostel lag etwas abseits in einer Straße nahe einer Bar und betrunkenen Menschen. Etwas mulmiges Gefühl, aber alles sicher!

It was a good value and the host was very helpful
Pros:

It was clean and had nice common areas with many plants. The AC worked well. There was also a communal kitchen available.

Beautiful room in Ometepe
Pros:

The rooms were great, clean, and spacious. The staff was very helpful and even booked a daily tour for us at a reasonable price. The location is also convenient, just 10 minutes from the port, with several options for food, coffee, and drinks nearby.

i really loved this hotel. My room was very comfortable.
Pros:

i really loved this hotel. My room was very comfortable. The garden was lovely. And the owner was such a nice happy person. I asked to extend my stay but unsurprisingly it was already booked. I would love to return.

Truly enjoyed our stay at Casa de Gio. Very apeaceful area and the host was super accommodating.
Pros:

Really nice and quiet spot, very comfortable, very kind lady to receive us. Also they provided parking which was AWESOME!

Pros:

It was comfortable and close to the port, perfect for a night or two. What I really liked was that they had fly screens on the windows which limited bugs getting in.

Cons:

Although they did have filtered water available, the filter was dirty (at least from the outside) so I was too scared to actually drink it, and another couple said the same, so I’d suggest keeping the external part clean so it gives the semblance of it being clean.

Pros:

The family who run the hostel are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and clean with an en-suite. Good location close to the town but quiet. There are lots of hammocks to relax in and a kitchen which guests can use. They also provide a laundry service. Excellent value for money.

Extremely enjoyable and restorative
Pros:

The communal seating and hammocks were a very calm and tranquil place to relax. The room was clean, spacious and had aircon. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and there is easy access to supermarkets and fruit stalls. Front desk was extremely friendly and accomodating.

Gute Option auf der Seite der Insel
Pros:

Die Zimmer liegen ruhig um einen grünen Innenhof, abgeschottet von der Straße durch das Hauptgebäude. Es gibt Sitzmöglichkeiten (inkl. Esstischen), Hängematten, Schaukelstühle und eine geräumige, gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche. Guter Wäscheservice.

Cons:

Zwei oder drei Häuser der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft sind von heftigen Trinkern belagert, die schon am Morgen breit sind und am hellen Tag auf der Straße umfallen (und da auch liegenbleiben, weil man es wohl aufgegeben hat. Die sind nicht laut oder gefährlich (außer dass man ab und an angequatscht wird). Dafür kann das Casa Gio nix, klar. Mich persönlich nerven Alkis halt einfach unglaublich und es war mir sehr unangenehm, da mehrfach am Tag vorbeizumüssen.
Wenn im Innenhof/Garten geraucht wird, zieht das leider in die Zimmer.

Comfortable budget stay for a few nights
Pros:

Spacious room with a hammock and chairs to hang out. Great location in the centre of the town and staff were very kind.

Cons:

Little details like the kitchen being cleaner and having better utensils would be nice. Also having another bedside table and lamp so that both people can read and store their stuff.
