Overall I give it a 10. Excellent! I recommend Very Highly. I had a very enjoyable experience.
Pros:

Awesome Location, access to beach, restaurants, walking distance to grocery market and stores. Excellent Management- always on call. Cleaning service people on call to, bring you everything you need right away. Spacious Very Clean Rooms, and all items in Great working conditions. Overall I give it a 10. Excellent!

It was clean, smelled nice but felt very unsafe sleeping there

Cons:

Communication with the staff was non existent, the check in process was weird and a little disconcerting tbh. Then while there a guy walks in on us while we were sleeping one morning. Noticed me looking at him and leaves. You see the doors there are codes and not card access so why did they give him a door code to an occupied room? When told the front desk about it, the front door to lobby was locked then someone finally came out and when I told him he said something abt renovating but we were in there and they knew that 🤔 did not make sense and made our last night there feel very unsafe

Enjoyed the location, the quiet and the price.
Pros:

It was quiet, staff was kind and efficient, it was clean. The building is old and if you are expecting new, this isn’t it. But it’s perfect for an inexpensive location.

Okay price but would not stay again

Good location and staff was friendly

Cons:

Restroom was a little moldy, we did see a few roaches unfortunately, blankets were paper thin and the top was like a thin fuzzy throw blanket, wifi never worked for us during our 4 day stay we had to use our hotspot, room was really hot A/C was programmed at 70 and intermittent couldn’t change that, pool was pretty tiny & they did not have 24/7 service as advertised

This place is an absolute gem- our favorite place to stay at South Padre!
Pros:

We love staying here! Instant relaxation the moment we park. Easy access to everything on the island, friendly, responsive staff, beautiful pool, hot tub, excellent value. Thank you so much!

Amazing honeymoon trip for 6 nights!
Pros:

The location was amazing! So close to the beach and many activities nearby. The pool was also a huge added bonus. The owners are really nice, personable, and professional.

Cons:

It is being updated so a few things were dated but overall very clean and nice. You also can’t beat the rate so close to the beach and the staff take such good care of you.
