Relaxed stay in fabulous house in the beautiful Serra da Estrela area
Pros:

The location of this gorgeous house is perfect to explore the mountains. The scenery is stunning and at every turn on the zig zag roads it got better and better. Excellent walking available from some villages and "beauty spots" on the routes. The house is perfectly run by Luis and his staff with delicious breakfasts that set you up for the day.

Une propreté des lieux exquise , le moindre détail est soigné , petit déjeuner 5* napoes relais& chateaux , vaiselle porcelaine , un petit déjeuner riche copieux et très varié préparé avec soin
Le maître des lieux est un grand homme

Delicious breakfast, very nice (and spacious) bedrooms, very nice dog.
Seia is not particularly beautiful but the Museu do Pão is really worth a visit. If you have children, I also recommend the Museu do brinquedo (the oldest one in Europe).-

Cons:

You need a car to have a meal, as there is almost nothing in the village. The swimming pool is rather small and the use of artificial grass in such a beautiful historical place is hard to understand... It would have been nice to have a bar with some local products (with and without alcohol) and to get some advic
e about wine tasting, considering the region where we were. However, the river beaches suggested by Luís were fantastic!

Mooie B&B in een historisch herenhuis met vriendelijke eigenaar!
Pros:

B&B is in een mooi historisch huis dat volledig gerenoveerd werd. Grote ruime kamers, parking op het domein en een tof zwembad. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker! De eigenaar was heel vriendelijk en heeft ons tips gegeven om de omgeving te verkennen alsook adresjes van lekkere restaurantjes in de buurt.

Cons:

Niets, verblijf was top!

Solar muito bem decorado e sossegado, as paredes refletem historia e tradição.
o pequeno almoço muito bem servido, com produtos locais e caseiros.

Absolut außergewöhnliche Unterkunft
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist in jeder Hinsicht absolut besonders. Die Räume sind schön hergerichtet, das Frühstück ist köstlich und der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Atmosphäre war sehr gemütlich und die Lage ideal, um eine Wanderung zu starten.
