We really had a great time staying in our apartment in such a fabulous location!
Pros:

Loved our dog free apartment as I have allergies.
The location is excellent for walking the fells.

Cons:

More vegetarian options in the restaurant and bar would have made it even better!
Also some basic foodstuffs for sale in the shop for sandwich making.

Its lovely. id come back and stay anytime, the food was great too, lots of GF options.
Pros:

The whole place is great, its obviously situated in a beautiful area, the building is old, and the historical artefacts are really interesting. The people were great, it was very quiet at night, we really enjoyed our time there. The food was great, lots of Gluten Free options, and they had GF Beer on tap, which for me was most welcome !! Breakfast was also very good!

Cons:

We had to leave! But there isn't much to not like, its a great place to go...

Pros:

We stayed for 2 nights in one of there 2 bed apartments. It is basic, comfortable. The food was fantastic and the staff were great.

Great location. Rooms with a view!
Pros:

Location. Unsurpassable. Very much a climbers’ and walkers’ hotel but a place of real charm in a majestic setting at the foot of mountains. Nice warm rooms and a great breakfast

Cons:

Dinner in the bar was pretty expensive for very ordinary fare - I thought £33 for lamb shank and mash was pushing it a bit. I guess you’re paying for the location but even so…

Comfortable with everything I needed without the bells & whistles
Pros:

It was a great stay thank you. The rooms are a little tired but it sort of went with the charm of the place. The pub is lovely, warm & inviting, friendly staff & great food & beer. I'd happily stay here again while walking in the area.

Cons:

No power by the bed. Shower was small. Basin was in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. Tired decor. very heavy room door with yale lock which are a little awkward to open when arriving & leaving with luggage. All minor niggles rather than deal breakers.

Such a beautiful inn this is you won’t be disappointed
Pros:

We only stayed for a night and wow what a lovely place this is the pub and restaurant were lovely, the room was so nice with Mountain View will come back again

Pros:

Location and rooms ok.

Cons:

Breakfast was ok however the bacon was old not freshly cooked. Nor was the tomatoes it appeared a rushed effort.
