Very nice place with excellent service.
Pros:

The reception, the staff, the fireplace in the room, the room itselve, the restaurant, everything was just perfect.

Cons:

Water dripping from overhanging trees onto the zink roof that is covering grass roofs, it sounds like birds walking on the roof, the whole night, while there is mis or light rain, that is apitty.

Magical.
Pros:

The Spa and Sauna, the view, fireplace, warm blankets. The service was done very well and thirough. Friendly people. Joanne at the Spa was exceptional.

Cold floor (could have more carpets).

Although it was extremely cold inside and outside our room, the hotel is beautiful !
Pros:

We only had breakfast, very delicious.
Room had a fantastic view and beautifully furnished.
Electric blanket was a big plus point.

Cons:

The small fireplace is definitely not adequate enough for a big room with high ceilings. It was extremely cold in the room. The bathroom, however, had underfloor heating. Much better.

Enjoyed our stay, just too short
Pros:

Secure and well maintained estate. Staff is professional. Room is neat and we enjoyed the fireplace on a chilly evening in Dullstroom. Food is of high quality and really good.

Idyllic!
Pros:

Idyllic location, surrounded by mountains. Scenic views across dams stocked with trout. We had a gorgeous room with a fireplace and outside shower. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner and breakfast - delicious food, excellent ingredients, prepared to perfection. Take a golf cart to explore the estate!

Cons:

We had an incredible weekend. Our only minor complaints were the waiting times for food to be served and that our breakfast was cold on the first day. Oh, and that you are charged for espresso and cappuccino with breakfast when taking the half board option. At the price, we felt that it should be e included.
