Wonderful location and ambience. A lovely quiet place. The spa is gorgeous, we really enjoyed our treatment there. The food is beautifully presented and the staff are all really friendly. A real special treat stay.

Really nice place & would definitely go back again, what was expected from a five star hotel.
Pros:

Food was excellent & service good too, nice ambiance in restaurant. Fires made it cozy as that time of year is cold in Dullstroom. We took the luxury room & was very comfortable & spacious & fire in the room made a bid difference.

Cons:

I had no complaints & was happy with everything that was offered - very beautiful place & estate.

Very nice place with excellent service.
Pros:

The reception, the staff, the fireplace in the room, the room itselve, the restaurant, everything was just perfect.

Cons:

Water dripping from overhanging trees onto the zink roof that is covering grass roofs, it sounds like birds walking on the roof, the whole night, while there is mis or light rain, that is apitty.

Magical.
Pros:

The Spa and Sauna, the view, fireplace, warm blankets. The service was done very well and thirough. Friendly people. Joanne at the Spa was exceptional.

Cons:

Cold floor (could have more carpets).

Although it was extremely cold inside and outside our room, the hotel is beautiful !
Pros:

We only had breakfast, very delicious.
Room had a fantastic view and beautifully furnished.
Electric blanket was a big plus point.

Cons:

The small fireplace is definitely not adequate enough for a big room with high ceilings. It was extremely cold in the room. The bathroom, however, had underfloor heating. Much better.
