We have been coming to this family owned resort since they built their first building. Its location is on a private beach adjacent to the iconic rock formation at the tip of the Cabo Peninsula. The views are stunning and unique. What we appreciate most of all is the feeling that we are “coming home” with each visit. As you arrive you are greeted warmly by the bell staff who expertly take charge of your luggage. The front desk staff efficiently welcomes you and checks you in for your stay. A free welcome “margarita” also confirms the welcome home atmosphere. From bell staff to pool staff to housekeeping staff to maintenance staff — to a person, they all meet the guests with smiles and welcome words. The warmth shared by every employee makes each guest feel as if you are part of the family. As guests we enjoy the ocean, the sun, the gorgeous surrounding rocks — however, the feeling of coming home is what we love most about this unique resort!
If i could rate it a 10, i would. This place never disappoints us. Year after year, it never gets old. They do a great job maintaining the property. In my opinion, this is the best place in the world. Staff, food, rooms, cleanliness, everything is perfect
A wonderful resort BUT DONT BUY. I bought a Penthouse and they oversold them so they are no longer available to me, so I have to accept a downgrade to a lesser unit! Today they offered to “allow me” to buy the opportunity to use a penthouse in the off season for AN ADDITIONAL $45,500 EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY PAID FULL PRICE AT THE TIME I BOUGHT IT!! DONT BUY!! THEY CHANGE THE RULES!!!
I was staying nearby but they did not have a concierge. They recommended I use the one at Grand salimar. Judith was excellent! She found me a great car rental, for a terrific deal, and they picked us up out front to give us the car!
If all the staff are as good as Judith, you will be in good hands. There is also a store there and the pools are lovely
Diana was a great! She kept our room so clean and tidy and she was so kind! She made our stay exceptional! Jair was also amazing. So friendly and always remembered names and faces and is so lovely. He is always so happy and welcoming everyone.
Our week at Grand Solmar was unforgettable, thanks to the incredible service from both the entertainment team and the servers. The energy, professionalism, and genuine care they showed made every day feel special.A huge shout‑out to Natalia from the entertainment crew; she brought so much joy, enthusiasm, and positivity to every activity. She truly made our entire week more enjoyable.We also want to recognize Jose, our poolside server, who was consistently attentive, cordial, and on top of every detail. Amazing experience! Gerardo and Ricardo were the kindest bartenders at the swim up bar! Amazing service. La roca is delicious. Beautiful resort. David took care of our family every day and was so sweet. Dianna was the sweetest housekeeper and did a great job cleaning our room every day. We love GSLE…it’s our happy place! We had the best pool cabana butler, Adan, who gave us superior and friendly service. Thanks Adan for making our stay enjoyable! Adan, Daniel and all the pool staff were so wonderful. Adan ensured we were well attended to with dry towels and attention. Spent two weeks at the Sunset pool. We interacted a lot with the pool waiters and entertainment staff who were fantastic. Javier was best! We went way out of his way to take great care of us. The activities were especially fun with Natalia and Jair.
Beautiful Spa days with Lilibeth and Leticia. These masterful technicians take you into another creative space. Will return again and again.
I really enjoyed the activities they have started! All of the personnel who led the stretching, card games, dancing 💃🏻 were all friendly and inviting. I want credit to Luz, Natalia and Jair who made participation so much fun! Can’t wait to return! We are home with cold weather 😟

As I have said for many years, I arrive broken and leave restored.
I always looked forward to being greeted by Manny and sadly for all he has moved on. I was however welcomed by Joel Roberto Saul and Charlie! Extraordinary men. Always so kind and helpful. Marco in Registration is so nice. Glad to see he is still a part of the Grand Solmar family. Super comforting to see David at the Sports Bar. He makes everything better. I had awesome service at the Adult pool with Jonathan and Ellie. Carlos was so so nice. He worked extremely hard at whatever task he was doing.
My massage team was also 5 Stars! Rocio well she is an Angel. Her massage work is heavenly. Maggie Ari and Carlos are very professional and kind at the spa.
My girl Leticia is a star at manicure and pedicure. I look forward to chatting with her year after year!!!
Alberto at the gym is also incredibly kind. I have always enjoyed talking with him.
Windy Gerry Esmeralda and Cinderella in the Cafe are an absolute pleasure! My Cappuccino or Iced Coffee was ALWAYS perfect. Super hard workers all. They were often attentive to many people when it was a line waiting. Never once did I witness those fine people acting less than exceptional. Even when the guest was less than kind.
I had a great encounter with Elizabeth in Members Service. Another 5 star employee. Hugo one of the drivers was excellent.
These individuals are one of the reasons I will continue to come to Cabo year after year God willing.
Beautiful location and great service. Stayed in a studio room with a beautiful view. Overall experience was great, a little pricey and a touch outdated but worth it if you want great views and location to the marina and downtown.

We love coming to this resort we have been coming here for 12 years. The service is always great. Dorian was our server at the pool all week and he was excellent, very friendly and took great care of us!

Our entire family, including our grandchildren, has been staying at Grand Solma Land's ends hotel from last Sunday until this coming Sunday, May 24. There are 9 of us in total, and we came here expecting to enjoy a peaceful family vacation together.
However, on Friday evening we suddenly received a call from the front desk saying that there were severe scratches on the glass-top electric stove in our room and that we would be charged a penalty of USD $950.
We were extremely shocked and upset by this accusation. The photo shown to us by housekeeping does not even appear to match the stove in our room. This situation has completely ruined the mood of our family vacation.
Our eldest daughter purchased a timeshare here 8 years ago, and our family has happily returned every year since then. We have always enjoyed staying at this resort and never experienced anything like this before. That is why this situation is especially disappointing and upsetting to us.
We also cannot help but feel uncomfortable because yesterday and today we only had large US dollar bills with us, so we were unable to leave tips for housekeeping during the daytime cleaning service. We sincerely hope this issue is not being handled unfairly for that reason.
Our family believes this matter must be properly resolved before we leave on Sunday. We respectfully request that the General Manager or another responsible senior manager personally review this situation, explain what happened, and offer an appropriate apology for the distress this has caused our family.
