An old, very traditional building with excellent local cuisine and very friendly staff.

Cons:

Unfortunately the hotel was not suitable for me, an 81 year old with limited mobility. I struggled with all the stairs, and access generally was difficult. There was no lift due to the age and layout of the building.
Perhaps Booking.com could make this point on their posting?

Propriétaires ou gérants très désagréables.
Pièce de réception : désordre indescriptible à la limite du dépotoir.
Devant patir à 8h pour l'aéroport J'ai demandé tout à fait poliment s'il serait possible de prendre le petit'-déjeuner à 7h30, ce fut un non catégorique. J'ai ensuite demandé si on pouvait au moins avoir une boisson chaude. Il m'a dit qu'il n'avait pas de machine à café ou autre alors que derrière le bar il y en avait une.
Aucun sens du service hôtelier, des personnes complètement bornées.
Hors de prix pour une chambre qui en vaut à peine 100€. On a payé 160€ sans petit déjeuner!
Cette hôtel 4 étoiles en mérite à peine 2 étoiles!

Hôtel de charme qqes points à améliorer
Pros:

Hôtel de charme dans une bâtisse classique. Chambre de belle superficie. Belle Salle de bains, très jolie cour intérieur. Patron et employées sympas Accueil beaucoup plus froid de la patronne. Très propre

Cons:

Petit déjeuner assez cheap surtout au vu du prix de la chambre. Petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles mais plutôt niveau 2 étoiles (croissants sous vide et pas tous les jours, choix restreints, boissons chaudes bonnes néanmoins) Cabine de douche dans la salle de bains avec bac cassé rafistolé. Eau chaude limitée certains jours avec pb de pression Proche de la route passante pas le calme absolu mais pas l’autoroute non plus.

Das Hotel war vielmehr eine Pension. Sie war sauber und schön eingerichtet.

Cons:

Die Wände sind aus Pappe, man hört den Zimmernachbarn atmen. Fenster sind nur Dekoration, kein Schallschutz, Wärme wird nicht gehalten. Zimmer liegen zum Teil an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Dadurch enorme Lärmbelästigung auch spät. Keine Heizung. Dusche nicht warm genug, nur ein dünner Rinnsal und lauwarm.

Entspannter Aufenthalt in einem urigen kleinen Juwel mitten in der Altstadt von San Miguel
Pros:

Das kleine Hotel ist im ursprünglichen Stil eines uralten Stadthauses renoviert und strahlt einen ganz besonderen Charme aus. Jedes Zimmer ist individuell eingerichtet und mit vielen kleinen, alten Objekten ausgestattet. Der lauschige Innenhof mit dem Plätschern des Brunnenwassers und der roten Blütenpracht der Bougainvillea lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das kleine Restaurant verwöhnt einen mit sehr guter, frischer und landstypischer Küche. Der Inhaber ist ein echter Charakter und sieht zu, dass es seinen Gästen an nichts fehlt. Das Frühstück ist angemessen mit frischem Obst und der üblichen Frühstücksauswahl. Die Getränke werden serviert, was bedeutet, dass der Kaffee aus einer guten Maschine kommt.

Cons:

Wer ein Zimmer auf der Strassenseite (Hauptstrasse) bekommt, schläft am besten mit Ohrstöpseln, da ab fünf Uhr morgens der Berufsverkehr gut zu hören ist.
Die Dusche, eine moderne Plastikkabine, passt nicht zum alten Stil des Hauses. Eigentlich sollte sie den Gast von allen Seiten bestrahlen, was jedoch nicht funktioniert. Nur die Handbrause funktioniert und dabei tröpfelt trotzdem Wasser von oben auf einen herab. Ist aber nicht schlimm, da es einen gut funktionierenden Fön gibt!
