Pros:

zelo lep mali hotel v lepem starinskem slogu, vse je novo, svetlo, zračno v strogem starem starinskem centru mesta Kars..prijazen manager Mehmed govori angleško in mi je tudi pomagal organizirat ekskurzijo v Ani..zajtraki so odlicne v lepem vrtu..samo pohvale!..verjetno pridemo še..lep pozdrav in srecno naprej Kar's.!

Pros:

Enjoyed my stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Very well located close to some good restaurants and walkable to some of the top sights. Staff were very friendly and helpful - particularly appreciate the early breakfast they prepared for me before my train journey to Ankara. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable (though plug sockets weren't in the best locations). Breakfast was delicious!

Central and comfortable
Pros:

A centrally located, attractive looking and very well refurbished hotel. I was just there for 1 night and arrived quite late off the train, but settled in well.

Cons:

It was a little eerily quiet when I was there, which can give rise to a slightly awkward atmosphere especially at breakfast when you're seemingly the only guest.

185 € in Kar’s für das historische Erlebnis eine Frechheit!

Frühstück und das Personal sehr gut (Herr Metin!)
Lage zentral, historischer Bau von 1901

Cons:

1. Nacht überheizende Anlage nicht regulierbar;
2. Nacht wurde im TG ein Kamin benutzt, der Rauch kam bei uns im Dachgeschoss im Bad raus. Ersatzzimmer wurde erst verweigert, sondern wir sollten die kleinen Dachfenster öffnen. Hätten wir nicht massiv auf einem Ersatz bestanden, wäre es zu einer Rauchvergiftung im Schlaf gekommen.
Bei 185 € pro Nacht DZ Tee und Wasser 1€!!
Kein Discount für Verrauchung!

Wonderful boutique hotel in great location and very helpful staff.
Pros:

Kar's Otel is an amazing boutique hotel I can highly recommend. The beautiful restoration of the buildings and the view on the Kars castel are fabulous. The hotel is on the main road of the old city area and restaurants and shops are just out the front steps, while being quiet in the rooms or inside the courtyard.
The rooms are extremely tasteful with very comfy beds making the hotel an oasis of tranquility. The manager Mr. Mehmet was wonderful and gave us many tips on what to see in and away from Kars (for example the salt cave in Tuzluca). He also was very supportive establishing contact with our 'extended' family and helping with interpreting which we highly appreciated.

건물 내부가 하얀색이라 더 깨끗해 보인다
숙소에서 카르성도 잘 보인다
엘베가 없는데 직원들이 잘 도와 줍니다
이 숙소 때문에 카르스에 다시 오고 싶고
다시 온다면 두 밤을 자고 싶다

Wenn ich wieder nach Kars kommen sollte, sofort und nur dorthin
Pros:

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, gemütliches,kleines Hotel,gediegen. Man wird sofort sehr freundlich empfangen mit einer angenehmen Desinfektion der Hände. Waren sehr bemüht alle. Und liegt so gemütlich im Zentrum

very good location
Pros:

Location was very good for us. It's a former Russian district, very central and close toplaces of interest. The building was a former Russian house, which means high ceilings and high interior doors and our room had a beautiful view of the Kars fortress from the balcony

Cons:

The room could have been bigger, and there was only one chair in the room.

Vergleichsweise teure Unterkunft im Stadtzentrum
Pros:

Das historische, ansprechend renovierte Objekt steht im Stadtzentrum von Kars, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Einrichtung wirkt alt, aber gepflegt, das Bett war durchaus bequem.

Cons:

Die öffentlichen Verkehrsflächen, die für das Parken angeboten werden, sind je nach Wochentag und Tageszeitpunkt mehr oder minder, abends aber voll ausgelastet, das Parken entsprechend mühsam. Das - qualitativ sicher hochwertige - Frühstück wird in vorgegebener Zusammensetzung serviert, das in der Selbstbewerbung des Hotels präsentierte Bild, das einen voll gedeckten Tisch zeigt, führt demgemäß in die Irre. Wäre da nicht die Nähe von Ani, ließe sich der vergleichsweise hohe Preis wohl nicht erziehlen.
