It was pleasant and had a wonderful time the rest of the evening.
Pros:

It was central, very accessible and affordable for the evening. I would definitely stay the night again.

Cons:

The only thing that the rooms had mostly three normal plugs however I needed a two point plug. I called to receptionist to have one sent to the room.

I booked a Standard Deluxe room by mistake, and wanted to upgrade to a Superior Deluxe room. They wanted to charge me R450 to upgrade. Nevertheless, the reception lady was helpful in showing me both rooms. I stayed in the standard deluxe room. This is one of their older / unrefurbished rooms. While spacious and has all the amenities, the furniture really is dated and run-down. My recommendation is to book a superior room from the get-go. These rooms are more modern and fresh.

The breakfast was not that great. The food was dry, particularly the sausage. The muffins were also dry. Not sure if it's because it's halaal and all the juices are taken out. Next time, I'll rather not take the breakfast option and grab a bite at Spur or Wimpy.

I was very impressed by the maintenance guy who arrived to my room in under 5 minutes of me calling reception because of an aircon issue. The cleaning staff did not come when I requested a mop for the bathroom floor multiple times, which gets soaked after a shower because the shower is over the bath.

Overall stay, very peaceful and comfortable and if stay again (but in one of the superior rooms)

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

It was nice and lovely breakfast. Staff was accommodating as possible.

Cons:

A lot of plumbing issues in room, toilet wouldn’t flush and sink kept over flowing the whole time. I had to call maintenance 2 times.

We upgraded to the executive rooms and they were great. The staff and their service were exceptional

Cons:

Rooms weren’t clean by the time we returned to our room, but once we requested it they were on it. Not enough shower gel for two adults.
