Comfort Heathrow Stay 5 Mins to the Terminal

I don't appreciate this property never picked me up. It was really cold outside. I made the reservation because i just wanted to rest.

The whole experience.

The check-in formalities are a bit unusual. It is described at the bottom of the booking.com-page, but we were in a hurry when booking (flight cancelled), so we hadn't seen it when it happened: You have to pay a security deposit and send a picture of a piece of identification, so I first feared I had been scammed - which I hadn't been, but it was an akward feeling.

The hallway of the house where the room is located is a bit weird - an alarm is sounding constantly (thankfully our room was quite far away from it, so we weren't disturbed by the noise).

It was very difficult to find because the road numbers continue into inner blocks of flats, but this is not the case for all such blocks as most of them are numbered independently. The map that was sent to me on WhatsApp when I asked for help was useful but that should have been sent previously along with the other information.

Although I had been warned of plumbing problems while I was travelling there, my room was not changed as informed. There was lots of water on the floor and I could not sleep because of the noise made by the dripping water. The room strongly smelled of damp.

I found the entire process to unfortunately be very long winded. From booking it, to the 2 x deposits I had to pay. I was dropped off at the wrong court and the entry instructions were difficult to follow. The place I was dropped to had a lock box in a similar location described in the instructions, and the pin of course, didn't work. I tried to contact the host to no avail - they simply sent me a repeat message with the check in instructions 45 minutes after I tried to get hold of them. It was only when a tenant of the court told me I was at the wrong place, that I managed to eventually get into the correct building. (It was dark and I had no idea where I was, hence the difficulty of finding the property). The state of the bed is not good. There are multiple stains on the mattress, duvet and pillows. They need to all be replaced, I'd say. I think the host needs to make themselves more readily available for guests if they're to be successful, and scrap the £1 and £30 extra deposit - at one point I thought I was being scammed with all the things I had to sign as well.

I was disturbed by some other guests arriving at 1pm.
Even tho it is 8 mins from the airport the taxi charge was £40 as the postcode.

You could install a lift for petrol to go up and down with heavy luggage

I believe I was scamed

Worst stay I’ve ever experienced in my life. I will try my best to make sure I let all my friends and social media followers know how bad this was. The property was full of trash, the instructions were unclear, and most of all, the door did not open when I tried the keys. Totally wasted my time and money to only go back to the airport. They of course were horrible enough to offer no compensation when I sent them all the videos. AVOID here at all cost if you can.
