Schöner, ruhiger Aufenthalt im Goms
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Abgesehen vom Zügli sehr ruhig. Schöne Terrasse. Sehr nahe vom Bahnhof. Alles unkompliziert. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

AVOID. Vacation on a construction site.
Pros:

Newly built hotel. That's about it.

Cons:

Overpriced place with entitled owner. It is non-refundable for a reason.

Location – you'll wake up at 7am to the sounds of construction next door. There was no construction on Sunday, I'll give them that. Also, trains run 10 meters from your windows.

Owner – you know how owners will go above and beyond to keep their guests happy? Well, that couldn't be said about Patrick. When asked about construction his response was "it's not on my property, I don't care. If you want to know how long it will continue - go ask yourself." Lol. In my book of hospitality, you'd expect to be informed upfront about such things – we are leaving noisy cities for a countryside for a quiet and calm time. Asked to change room – "Nope, fully booked", which was a lie as there were rooms available on booking. To cancel booking and refund the rest of the nights - nope. Not an option. Owner hold onto that couple nights like his life depends on it. Ok 🤷‍♂️

WIFI – no wifi in rooms, because "it is not healthy". Apparently construction and destroyed sleep is healthy according to the owner.

Beds – queen bed is actually 2 twin beds put together with separate mattresses.

You can live with so-so beds, no internet and poor breakfast, but not with an owner, who doesn't know what word "hospitality" means.

We would happily stay here again.
Pros:

The owners attention to environmental concerns was impressive. They were very friendly and helpful. We loved the homemade and healthy breakfast

Pros:

Had a wonderful week there. Exactly what we were after! Direct access to the ski tracks, a sauna, lot's of space to read, play, work or talk in a very in-distractive environment. And even the yoga lessons. Will return definitely. Everyone is so lovely and you feel welcome from the first moment.

Cons:

We couldn't think of a thing!
