At the time of booking i thought that breakfast was included. It was not told yo me at the time of check-in. First we had breakfast. On the second day while entering for breakfast i was told that my booking is without breakfast. On the day i was checking out i was asked at the check out counter whether i had breakfast. I said dince its chargeable i didn't have. The manager told me that since my booking is gor 3 days he had taken the matter with hid seniors and that my breakfast was complimentary. So much confusion. Why

Pros:

The location is perfect, right next to two big shopping centres. The room isn't bad but it seems a bit old. Door was stuck when handed over to us...

Cons:

The buffet... I can't help myself from making comparisons because we have stayed in better places. Taj needs more variety for the buffet and real live stations. I may be demanding but I cannot believe a Taj buffet in Kolkata doesn't have misti doi... They also seem to lack staff at the restaurant. I don't want to sound mean but please check Westin buffet for better reference. We expected more from Taj.

Nice hotel in a good location
Pros:

Nice facilities and excellent service. The buffet breakfast had lots of choices. Great infinity pool. On top, the hotel is next to a shopping center which is very convenient.
