no heating, beds swayed any time you moved as if they were in stilts, lift is from the beginning of time, used once then had to take the stairs. nothing like the pictures.

Will not be visiting again. Good location, nice service, poor facilities.
Pros:

Friendly staff on check in and in the restaurant. Nice size bath.

Cons:

The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable, you could feel the springs.

The room was at the restaurant end of the building and smelt of cooked food constantly. My clothes smelt of food the following day.

Booked for 2 nights, only stayed for 1.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back
Pros:

The room was dated but beds were comfy and bedding was pristine and towels were to the food was really nice and the brekky was very tasty gluten free aswell

The rooms and corridors could do with decorating

Great hotel and bar / pub when staying in or around Alderley Edge
Pros:

Great choice of breakfast and the full English cooked to order - Very good.
Was in room 1 - Very quiet and in a good location in the hotel.

Cons:

bathroom is a little tired - sink and bath / shower - Nothing wrong but getting old and water didn't eave the sink quickly - Could do with a refurn in the near future.

Pros:

The staff were friendly and the food was good

Cons:

The bathroom window was broken. It didn’t have a handle and didn’t close so the room was freezing. The cold water tap in the bathroom sink didn’t turn off, so it ran all night. The room was incredibly noisy. Towels stained. Only 2 channels on tv worked . Between the storm as the window wouldn’t close, the running tap, and the noise from the banging doors, it wasn’t a restful experience .
