Tucked between the sea and the busy road of Candidasa, once you are inside the property, you barely hear the traffic.
Watching the crabs climbing the wall escaping from the wave was my entertainment, along with the view of passing fast boats, and children playing kites.
Breakfast is quite basic. And not about the property, but when the Candidasa board walk project will eventually arrived in front of the cottage, it will be quite a noise. Although of course, that will not be a permanent thing, the project. At this stage, the activity seems to be on and off.
Temple cottages offer a peaceful garden setting and great ocean views. The restaurant serves very reasonably priced, fresh and delicious food. I loved being able to dine by the ocean. The staff are friendly and the simple rooms are clean and great value for money.

I have just had a 2 night stay at this lovely hotel.
I booked a standard room, basic but had everything I needed. A fridge would have been nice, but I did opt for the standard room. Excellent value for money, lovely staff & great location. If I could add one thing, it would be a pool, but really didn't miss it. The outside area is beautiful overlooking the beach with a choice of seating, staff waiting on you to bring food & drink if you do not want to eat in the main restaurant. Would definitely recommend Temple Cafe & Cottages
Nothing to dislike, a lovely older authentic hotel .... maybe as I mentioned a pool would be nice, but if you want to swim, there's a great big ocean right there 👍

Lovely cottages, right on the water, the views are terrific, come just for this! So nice to wake up next to the sea. The staff are lovely, the rooms are clean. Yes it’s basic but you get what you pay for! Even provide a kettle and tea, coffee, water in the rooms.

El personal y sobre todo su recepcionista, que además de ser super agradable nos ayudó en lo que pudo a gestionar moto, taxi y ferry.
Las instalaciones son muy antiguas. No hay apenas espacio en la habitación para dejar maletas cómodamente.
The location is perfect. It's so near with a lot of restaurant and the cafe itself is great. The beach is also walkable. The accomodation is right in the front of ocean. It's really nice waking up with the sound of waves and bird chirping. The staffs are also nice and helpful
My room is a bit dirty. I have sensitive skin and slight alergy to dust so when something is dirty, I'll know right away because I'll get itchy. And the moment I enter the room, I felt itchy. There are also some bugs but from my experience staying at Bali and close to nature, there's always a chance bug will come to the room

Beautiful sea view with plenty of tables and chairs to sit on. Staff super hospitable and kind. Felt like home as it was such a pretty place with the gardens too as well as the kind and generous staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

In the first room that we were in it had an opening on the toilet and it let a lot of mosquitos inside and the bed didn't have a mosquito net. Got bitten a lot but went to the manager and she gave us another room which didn't have that problem and fumigated it before so the problem went away.
The Internet was very slow had to use my data.
Garden cared for with lots of flowering plants. Hear roaring ocean at night as room locations are good. Very peaceful.
Shower head was messed up; needs stability.

Steps from the beach, very cute decoration, big, beautiful toilet with bath tub. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the restaurant as they serve fresh and homemade meals at a very reasonable place. Couldn’t ask for more, I will definitely come back.
