Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend it.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was beautiful, with stunning views and easy access to the nearby mountains and river, making it the perfect place to relax and explore. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Cons:

The furniture is quite old and could benefit from some updating. The property could also have been cleaner, but overall it didn't take away from our enjoyable stay.

Would recommend
Pros:

The area was beautiful, it was far out but close enough to get to some areas by car, the bed was comfy, the staff were lovely- friendly- and accommodating, the pool was very nice,

Cons:

The breakfast was a little lacking and the bacon/ sausages weren't the best quality but it was a buffet style so that could be down to how it was served, other than that there was nothing wrong with the place.

Good value for a hotel in a beautiful setting.
Pros:

A beautiful stone built hotel alongside a lovely river.

Cons:

The hotel was a little tired looking. Pillows weren’t the most comfortable and the bathroom although clean was quite old.

A lovely hotel and spa
Pros:

Buffet brekkie, constantly replenished, and wide variety of hot and cold, continental, fruit & cereal. Friendly staff, beautifully garden next to the gushing river. A perfect stopover hotel, or base for walkers as its close to the end of Lake Windermere.
We didn't use the space facilities, but its hood they're available.
