Property Description

The Whitewater Hotel has 38 en-suite rooms, from doubles and singles to Classic Riverviews, rooms with balconies and four-poster rooms. Many overlook the river. Breakfast is served in the Riverside restaurant. Residents get complimentary use of the Cascades Health & Fitness Club, which includes an air-conditioned gym.

Okay not sure if we would stay in the WhiteWater Hotel again.
Pros:

Excellent position in the South Lakes.

Cons:

Not easy to book dinner at a suitable time.
And needs some TLC in the en-suite bathroom, and the chair in room 401 had the padding hanging out.

Excellent find.
Pros:

Location, staff, food & facilities were absolutely perfect. Everyone was really friendly, professional and helpful - felt as if I'd been visiting for years!! Nothing was too much trouble.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was some road noise from our room at the front of the hotel. Wasn't too keen on the bed freely moving when sat up & leaning against the fixed headboard - could do with locking wheels.

Not the breakfast experience it once was.
Pros:

Cleaning. The room was spotless. Staff lovely.

Cons:

The new breakfast set up was poor. No hot tea pots served to the table tea was just warm. Cranberry juice not real. No where to rest the lids from the hot food bay. Fried eggs stacked on top of each other which made them greasy.

Brilliant stay.
Pros:

Great stay. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Beautiful views and surrounding area. Sauna and steam room were great. Bar has all your needs met. Would definitely stay again.

Pros:

Breakfast was great if not a little limited, location was fabulous.
The room was terrific.

Cons:

I booked an accessible room, when we arrived they told us it had been booked already. They gave us a nice room, but i would have much rather known, l would have booked another hotel with exactly what I needed.

Ambience aplenty, location and sound of rapids fabulous
Pros:

Location , ambience, facilities such as pool, spa. Room size, adequate breakfast, carparking

Cons:

Couldn't book suitable time for dinner, even though when observed tables later were free, management had instructed desk not accept £50 note even though it was what our Australian exchange venues gave us.

Overall, not worth the price tag
Pros:

The location was amazing.

Cons:

For the price I expected it to be more. More clean - without cracks in the bath or what looked like mould in the gap in the ceiling and a dust filled radiator. The food choices weren’t great but passable.
