My family enjoyed our one night stay here specially the swimming pool and spa and the gym
Pros:

It’s has good ambience and quit place and also good for relaxing

Cons:

Maybe it’s better if there something excitement to watch like entertainment like dancing and singing.

Don't take room 308.
Pros:

Excellent staff, fabulous food with good sized portions. Sarah at riverside restaurant was friendly, professional and knew the menu.
There was sufficient free parking at site.

Cons:

The room 308 is good only as a storeroom. The whole view from the window was the old slate roof. The bedside lamps didn't work and the room was dimly lit.
In the heat of summer with no AC or fan and we were scared to open the window with the risk of rats entering off the roof. Spent the night as in a sauna.

Lovely location but hotel needs an update.
Pros:

Location is lovely. Riverside outside bar area is lovely.

Cons:

Could not get anything to eat in either restaurant even though we were residents and asked at check-in. Nowhere else in the vicinity to eat so had to get taxis to another village. Also the place is starting to look tired and needs a refurb. I don't expect to pay £200 a night to have to stand in a bath to take a shower! I also expect to be able to plug my phone in beside the bed. Just all outdated now.

Pros:

In a lovely position, perfect for what we required

Cons:

As above. Very relaxed environment. We had a family room which was very spacious. My only criticism would be was that our room needs more plug sockets around the bed spaces

Reasonable stay
Pros:

Clean. Some staff very pleasant and friendly.

Cons:

Service in restaurant and bar very slow. Spa area not staffed when we arrived and had to wait a while for towels. Some areas looking tired and need reviving. No decaf tea in room or dining-room.

Room was comfy. Swimming pool was nicr views from outside were lovely

Cons:

The room was dated lack of choice of food in the restaurant and at breakfast breakfast lay out was terrible bits in the swimming pool were broken eg hand rail in jacuzzi sept at top of jacuzzi uneven picnic table outside were damaged

Amazing experience
Pros:

Hi ,
I would really appreciate all of the services and amenities. We are a group of 8 adults everyone enjoyed rooms and facilities. Pool was very clean, and there was one guy I forgot his name he was managing the pool section. He was explained everything and he was very approachable person. Breakfast was nice enjoyed it. Parking was spacious. And very calm and quiet area.
